This house number kit comes with templates for 3, 4 or 5 numbers/letters. It was very easy to place the numbers and install the unit on our house. The housing is plastic so I'm not sure how long it will last before cracking in the California sun. This product claims to be heat proof but in my experience with other solar items, the solar panels die after a year or so, so we will see. This one came ready to go. This lighted house numbers box looks and feels OK. It is made with a type of plastic but is decently sturdy. Its LEDs are powered by one lithium-ion battery (capacity unspecified) that is charged with a small solar panel on top of the box. It has three color temperatures: 2700K (yellowish), 4000K (white), and 6500K (blueish). Its waterproof level is IP65, which means it is water-resistant and not waterproof. Its webpage says that being charged for four to five hours allows it to light up for 18 to 24 hours at night. To be able to last that long, its brightness level is quite dim, which is completely fine because all it needs is a small amount of light just enough to make the background of the house numbers visible at night. Included in the package are three sets of 0-9 numbers, one set of A-Z letters, and three templates to make it easier for us to stick the numbers to the front plate. It looks quite nice during the day, and at night, it looks great. The background light is shining quite evenly. We just had our house repainted a few months ago, and this lighted house number box makes it look even more elegant. We already have one lighted house number box installed next to the front gate. This Solar Address Sign is FANTASTIC! Lights up and has 3 different brightness settings. Works totally on sunlight, so no electricity needed, no wires or plugs. Comes with everything you need to set up and install. Comes with plenty of number and letter stickers for your address or whatever you want to display. Comes with templates so for up to 5 numbers or letters, so you get them straight and perfect. Even comes with the screws for installing. So easy to do everything, did it myself and didn't take much time at all. I put this on the front of the house and it looks Amazing. Lights up at night and everyone from the street can see my address numbers. So much better with the lighting, really stands out. Now, no one can say they couldn't see the address numbers. Great for if there is emergencies and you need someone to see your house or apartment numbers. I am very satisfied with it. Even had compliments on it by delivery drivers, said they could see it perfectly. Every house and apartment should have one of these. Definitely worth every penny and the price is really reasonable. The sign was perfect for putting a light up number for our house. The template guides were very useful to make sure the numbers lined up properly, but I think I need to go back to kindergarden to figure out how to put stickers correctly in the box..

With shorter days coming I always try to make sure our address is visible for friends and deliveries. This is super helpful with that. You can adjust the pole height to be taller or short. Plant it at the corner sidewalk or in a planter anywhere you like. We have ours in a planter near the driveway for now.
