It's a must have for any outdoor activities. Has enough room for water container to be full and you can have snacks inside the big compartment. There's a small pocket for things like keys or phone etc. It takes some getting use to to drink out of it. When I received my hydration pack (in luminous - green), it had some small damage near the logo. I was bummed because the reflective material vibe was marred by it. I reached out directly to the Sojourner team (via email from contact card) with photos & screenshot of my amazon order showing delivery address & order #. Later the same day, they immediately sent a replacement for me, no return needed & no questions asked! I'll update this review once I actually use it more if there's any issues, but I felt that level of customer service plus the quality, so far as I can tell, deserves a 5 star review off the bat. Other than that small issue, the product feels high quality and I can tell they upgraded the water bladder/pouch compared to the older reviews/images I saw on amazon. See pictures included. The seams look and feel secure around the opening to fill with water. Due to joint pain/hand weakness, I am having trouble screwing it on properly, it kept leaking or didn't seem to screw in all the way. I'm ordering another bladder with a zip-seal top. So I won't comment much on how well the bladder itself works. There's also velcro straps inside the bag to help keep the bladder attached to the bag/hold it up inside, plus a pocket inside the main compartment to contain it. No overwhelming plastic or factory smells. Also, I can def fit like a slim travel pack of hand wipes and a snack bar or 2 inside the main pocket next to the inner bladder pocket. The side pocket (which doubles as the inner bladder pocket) fits my large phone (samsung galaxy note 10+) and I can pretty much fit my whole hand inside that pocket so I would say it can hold a handful of items. The shoulder straps have a cross-chest buckle which is adjustable about 3 inches up/down which is nice. They're a mesh fabric, super breathable. Inside of straps is soft while outside is tougher to, I assume, withstand wear and tear from, idk, branches or something. There's no pockets on the shoulder straps, but there is a gap in there (where the cross-chest buckle is adjustable) that you could add a carabiner to attach a small bag/wallet or multi-tool, something like that. I added photos so you can see what I mean, where I'm sticking my fingers in could easily accommodate something lightweight being hung off it. And I bet you could sew/safety pin a small pocket on the mesh part if you wanted to! Finally, I loooove the reflective effect of the color/finish of this bag with flash! Reminds me of paparazzi proof clothes. In short, I think this product's worth it even if the water bladder is a bit hard to open/close for refilling. The bag itself is worth the cost imo. Bag is good and all only thing I didnt like is the tubing for bag. U have to fight with it to work sometimes which is annoying.

I didn’t get a pic of this bag, but it served its purpose. I wore it for a three day festival and I stayed v hydrated. At first I could NOT get it in there completely full so I kept having to fill it 3/4. It wouldn’t sit down in the pocket easily, but I finally got it in there and attached to the small Velcro holders. I was soooooo confused about where the spout was supposed to come out, there was so secret slit. At first I had it coming out of the bottom, but it didn’t make sense and I kept seeing bigger sojourners w the spout coming out the arm strap - which totally made sense. I just cut my own slit in the mesh and pulled my spout thru - worked perfectly after that. I will keep using this pack for all my future festivals - BUT, keep in mind you have to pack super light … which I should have been anyways hah. I’ll probably buy the lunchbox brand when I’m ready to upgrade - this was def a great / conservatively-sized pack! Sorry I didn’t take pics of the actual product hahahaha but it went w every outfit bc the dark purple looks almost black! ... show more

I really enjoy having this backpack. The two things that I don’t love are: 1. The spout is too large. It takes up so much of the bladder & makes it kinda difficult to fill. 2. Even after washing a couple times, it takes like plastic. I hope that it’ll go away as I use it. Other than that, it’s been a great way to stay hydrated! Super cute & you can fit quite a bit of extras (snacks, first aid products, etc.) in the front and main pocket. Great for festivals or hiking. ... show more

    • Very cute, hydration pack faulty
I love and still use this bag at every festival, but the original bladder that it came with would either leak the whole event and be empty, or be clogged somehow the whole event. I thought it was user error but I’ve tried replacements and I don’t have that problem at all.
