  • Love it! 10 x 16 Attached to house
Style: Wall-Mounted Size: 10' x 16'
I really love the 10 x 16 enclosure! I will not go into the dread of putting it together with extremely terrible instructions if you even want to call them instructions. If you want to become popular and famous and possibly earn money create a video of how to put it together and post it on YouTube. I tried to get a friend of mine to do it but he said the profanity while putting it together would only get it band lol. I would recommend adding Coolseal to the aluminum top because the heat that comes through is incredible in Florida. I also added shears which did help with some of the heat coming through while not losing the light from the outside view. One other thing too mention is the fact that I put this on a newly poured 12 x 36 concrete pad that was made to drain so I have still not actually had it attached to the house yet. Finding someone who does small jobs is very difficult so what I did was what any woman would probably do… spray foam! That has definitely helped to keep mosquitoes out. I had very little rain come through the roof although I did put on the Coolseal. Sometimes when it is a very heavy rain, rain will come through the screen so I am trying to figure out something to do with that. Overall I absolutely love the enclosure and I must say that when I did have a problem with damage from the delivery AMAZON was absolutely the best! They made everything right and I also contacted the company directly and they were completely amazing. Absolutely appreciate the wonderful service with AMAZON as well as Sojag the company excellent customer support. F ... show more

  • Review after installation
Style: Wall-Mounted Size: 10' x 16'
I did not buy this off of Amazon, but I bought the exact one from another site. Since installing it (about 3 days ago), we had one very heavy rain storm. Installation: Like what has been said, no words in the manual, just pictures. For the most part, this isn't bad. There were a few times where trial and error took place. But overall, it really isn't that bad. I put it together myself in about two days. If I had started early and worked all day, I probably could have finished it in a day. I did use my 13 year old daughter to help with the roof. Other than that, you really don't need two people. That being said, it definitely would have been faster with two people. The roof...oh man the roof. The roof was the only difficult part. I would recommend two things. Don't used the nuts that they provided - they all seem to come off, and used three people if possible. It would have taken half the time if I had another set of hands to help. Weatherproofing: Like I stated previously, it rained very hard after I set it up. The water leaked from the side panels...actually quite a lot. I think I can take care of this with some silicon sealant. It looked as if the way the water came off the roof could have made the water entering through the panels worse. So I need to figure something out to funnel the water away from the panels when it rains. It may have also leaked from the design of the windows. It appears that there are basically three channels in the window (The screen and the upper and then the lower plastic window. So because of this the water was entering through the screen and pooling in the middle channel (for the the upper plastic window). I need to look at that problem more to see if it happens again and, if so, what needs to be done. So I have had it for less than a week and overall I am happy with the design, materials, and size. When winter comes and we get a snow storm I'll update how it handles the snow. My advise is, as stated before, read the directions multiple times then plan a long day or two of assembly (and get more than one person if they are available). For a product that was sold out, I was surprised about how little info there was on the internet about it. It is a pricey product, so over the long run, hopefully it is worth it. ****update**** I have had this for 4 months or so. I am happy with it with a few minor complaints. The main one I am seeing now in winter is that the door slide is on the outside. We have had a few days of rain followed by cold weather. This has caused the water to pool in the door tracks and then freeze causing the door to be frozen shut. I was able to muscle it open a couple of times but the last time I had to use a blow dryer to melt the ice to be able to get it open enough so I was able to go outside and use a screwdriver to remove the ice. The only other complaint would be, again, the design where the water comes in the windows as I said above. The good news is that we have had some ridiculous wind storms here. The first time part of the roof flew off but I blame myself for that. I didn't fully secure the roof but after that time I bought screws and bolts and put extra long screws to hold it down. Since then we have had a few more wind storms and the thing has held up nicely. We will see after a real snow storm how it holds up. ... show more

  • It’s cheaper to build your own!
Style: Wall-Mounted Size: 10' x 13'
This is far from worth the money. It comes with a book of poor illustrations and NO WORDS for you to assemble this thing. You will put pieces together, take them back apart, put them back together and then run into the ones with the bent tracks that won’t go together and you’ll wish you never ordered this. The “windows” came all scarred up and drooped in the heat. ... show more

  • Bad instructions
Style: Wall-Mounted Size: 10' x 13'
I love the sunroom once it was put up but the instructions were so bad and some pieces were not the actual pieces for my size room. We made it work though . It took us so long to put together because of the bad instructions. Putting pieces together and redoing it again. I would not do this again ever. Should have listened to the reviews. After weeks of putting it up, we sealed up the room and made sure it was completely rain/ bug proof, we love it. My husband and I have put up lots of different projects, nothing compares to this. This was definitely a love hate project. The reason we took over a month to put together was because we were so frustrated that we had to step away for a minute because we kept having to redo steps do to bad instructions. ... show more

  • My husband’s man cave
Style: Wall-Mounted Size: 10' x 13'
It was a bit tricky to assemble not going to lie. But once the walls are up it is pretty easy from there. It adds a beautiful outdoor room for us to enjoy. We built a deck to put it on and the solarium is very well made. We did purchase a big outdoor hanging fan also from Amazon to keep us cool because it does get warm in there. We are in Florida so of course it will be warm. One thing if you live in a deed restriction community you may want to get it approved. Lesson learned:) ... show more
