The fabric is thick and you can tell is nice quality. It is extremely waterproof. We used it camping and ended up being in the middle of a severe hail storm 8hrs from home. We actually ended up using this tablecloth as a blanket because it was the only dry thing at our campsite after the storm. True story folks. This tablecloth perfectly fits the dining room table at its smallest (without any leaves added). The color is a good shade for Advent and Lent. I haven’t washed it yet but, being polyester, I expect washing it in cold water and drying on low heat will be all it needs.

They were okay table cloths, of average quality. Out of the package they are of course creased, so they need a wash and dry before using them. My main issue is that I ordered 2 identical tablecloths to overlap on one larger table. The seller sent two tablecloths of different materials. The difference of appearance was obvious. One was a slighty more shiny, thinner, cheaper material and not quite the same shade of black. The other was exactly as I was looking for.
