    • Hose clamps may be useless

Item arrived quick and well packaged for shipping. Fuel line and filters look as they should be more than adequate for their purpose. Other than clamps I’m happy with this fuel line kit! I have not installed fuel line yet but the hose clamps appear to be much too large to work properly. I have tightened one of the clamps and it’s ring is not close to touching the fuel line yet. The clamping part of clamp is deforming to an oval shape and not round at all. I’m modifying two of them to see if I can make them maintain a round shape better. Since the fuel line has such a small outside diameter I’m not sure if anyone makes a screw hose clamp that would work, the smallest I have don’t without modifications. This type of fuel line is for gravity feed and not pressure so a squeeze type band or ring hose clamp would be better suited for installation. ... show more

Everything seems to be a really good quality . Have to see how it holds up over time . The only problem I had with anything was that the clamps were to big for the size fuel line I purchased . I had to use my own clamps that I had and I'll save the others for something else .

PROS, all as advertised, fast accurate shipping, quality line, clamps and filters. I really like that a knife is all I needed with this kit to replace a faulty fuel line on my mower. CONS, none.

    • The Circlips are a little too big
Size: 3/16 inch with 3.3 ft (1 meter))
The hose, and filters are workable and it does come with a sleeve for protecting the hose from abrasions. The circlips are nice in that they have a key like head for tightening but -this depends a certain amount on usage- the clips are too big and deform (do not stay completely round) if the fitting (pipe you're putting the hose onto) is small. But I really do like the keyhead saves trying to find the right sized socket or slipping screwdrivers. ... show more

This fuel line come with everything you will need to connect it. It has two inline filters that look like they have a magnet in them but I can’t be sure. It also comes with five hose clamps. The supporter I suppose is for around hot areas to act as a heat shield. The hose itself is not heavy duty. It is ¼” as it says but I did not see any type of braiding for additional strength. That in addition to the hose being relatively thin is the reason I say it is for light duty. I would not use this on a car and might not on a large lawnmower. The price kind of gives that away. You can’t get all you get with this and still get the same quality hose that cost as much by itself. For smaller engines I think this will work fine.
