I needed a small, comfortable, nice looking sleeper for my mother’s 2 week stay. Since my husband is working three days from home now our guest room/office wasn’t going to work. So I decided to use our den/laundry room also as a guest room. Now my predicament was what can I buy that doesn’t take up much space, can be used for sitting when not in use, looks nice and is comfortable for her or any guest to sleep on. So I came across this ottoman/sleeper and read the positive reviews and decided to order the dark grey. Delivery was on time just as stated. Since there is no assembly required the box is a bit big, however surprisingly it wasn’t at all that heavy. Can’t lift and carry but certainly Can push it without any problem. Unpacking was a breeze. It comes with a matching pillow that can be used for sleeping and as a decorative lumbar pillow when you use it as a lounging chair. If not you can store the pillow in between the cushions when folding the ottoman which I thought was very convenient. I love that you can set it in 4 different ways. I bought a twin size comforter and mattress protector and both fit perfectly. The twin sheet though, not so much, it’s not fitted but will do for the time being. So what did my mom think about the new guest bed? She loved it! She said that she had slept like a baby. She liked that it was sturdy, cushions not too soft just the right firmness and comfortable for her. The material is nice, it is very well done. I needed spare bedding for guests and this ottoman was the least obtrusive while also serving another purpose. We really like the fabric and style plus the red offers a really nice pop of color. We liked it so much we returned to purchase a matching second ottoman. At a spare bed it's comfortable tho a tad short. (I'm 5'7 and my feet do hang off.) The firmness doesn't bother me (think futon level firmness) and it's wide enough to turn over comfortably so you aren't locked into one position. Would I want to sleep on this long term? Not really but it's also not built for long term sleeping arrangements. If a guest expects 5 star hotel level accomodations they can pay for a 5 star hotel stay. LOL ... show more

I have only had this a few days. It's been tested by my granddaughter and she says it's comfortable to sleep on. And it folds up easily when not needed into an ottoman. It has removable covers that will.make itn easy to clean. It's rather firm which is a plus in my opinion. The only negative is, its not meant for tall people for sleeping and it sits kind of low to the ground when using as a chair. Price wise and versatility? A hell of a deal ... show more

Haven't had this long enough to know how well it holds up, but the form factor is perfect for my use. When my home office is being used as an office this can be folded all the way down to an ottoman that sits nicely away in a corner. The chair format is pretty uncomfortable, I have to be honest, as the 'back' of the chair is very short and so doesn't really support you. Extend the leg rest though and sit in a more laid down position and it is very comfortable. With a cheap mattress topper this also works great as a guest bed, it is only a few inches on each edge less than a twin mattress and this allows you to use regular fitted mattress toppers and sheets, with only a small amount of bagginess. Can't remember if this comes in different sizes, but if it does spring for the bigger size. ... show more
