These are absolutely amazing. Like seriously, these are badass! I do not ever wear any sort of incline, only flat slides and tennis shoes, so the incline is a little steep for me, but other than that, they are pretty comfortable and pretty easy to walk in. I wouldn't feel comfortable carrying my almost 3 year old around, or unload groceries, or anything like that though, not yet at least. Very versatile as far as what they go with too. My go to is leggings and crop/tube tops, and they look so bad badass together. Truly awesome boots! The outer zipper seems to be faux, I can't unzip either shoe, but i also don't need to. (The inner zipper works just fine.) It looks great and THAT's why it's there. They are a little stiff, but they are new and seem to be easy to break in. They fit snug but comfy around my ankle and leg which I love - I usually have problems with things being too loose. The toe area is perfect. My toes have plenty of wiggle room and don't feel cramped - at all. Also, my feet don't slide to the end and crush my toes, I've NEVER experienced this before, i ALWAYS slide forward. I attribute it to the good, snug fit in the ankle and back of the foot. I've worn them around the house about an hour now and my feet are a little tired and sore, but that's to be expected with any heel/platform, especially when not use to it. Also, I got my pair out of the warehouse for a REALLY good price, and that just makes me love them that much more, and make them that much more worth it to me. I was actually suppose to send these back, but i just can't. After putting them on, I. Must. Have/Keep. These. 💖 Right out the box, first impressions of these shoes are fantastic. These are the cutest boots and they went perfect with the outfit that I was putting together! They do have more height to them than I had expected however, they were still great. The middle width of the shoe is not wide so if you have wide feet you may want to go with another size or boot all together. I do not have wide feet however the middle was a little tight for me at first. But after I wore them about 2 times I was good! I wore them to my first concert and I got a lot of compliments! I like these boots a lot. They have great height and a great true to size fit. Im surprised because i was skeptical of getting them from here and the brand is random to me but they definitely did not disappoint.

These are cute shoes. The colors (mix of black and white) are perfect! The black is where it should be on the shoe. I ordered the same size that I wear in Nike’s and Hoka (8.5) but the shoe is too small in the front. I wish it was a bit wider in the front because the back is fine for me. There’s a bit of space in the back that I can feel. I am going to order a size 9 (half size bigger) and hope it will be a perfect fit?! If not, nothing I can do. If you buy these and have wide feet, order half a size bigger than your size in running shoes. ... show more

I wasn’t expecting much when I ordered these shoes but so far they have been holding up very well! The height of the heel is accurate and they are easy to put on. My only issue is it does rub my ankle and heel but that could be user/sizing error so I would try to get the best measurement to your shoe size as possible! ... show more

    • Mix-up with an added bonus

I bought this pair of boots because of a mixup with another order of a pair of boots... But my story has a happy ending! I originally ordered the SODA Balboa but got the Malia style instead. After debating on keeping or returning them, I tried them on and eventually took a gamble on keeping them. Let me say, I was pleasantly surprised! The boots are easy to put on and take off (I love the look of laces but always, ALWAYS look for a zipper closure on my shoes). Also, they work well with an insole insert for added comfort with a small exception. That is, they are a *little* tight across the vamp with the insole, especially after wearing them 10-12 hours during the work day. Ratings are as follows: Style: 5 out of 5 Design: 5 out of 5 Fit: 4 out of 5 Durability: 5 out of 5 - scuffs and dust/dirt are easily wiped; back of the heel is not easily damaged from driving or walking Comfort: less than 6 hours of wear: 4.5 out of 5; 6+ hours of wear: 3.5* out of 5 (*especially with an insole >tightens the vamp) Note: loosening the laces did not help with the slight increase in tightness of the vamp with an insole (your foot just ends up looking unattractive and wide). I think these boots are pretty comfortable without an insole however for long periods of wear in which you're on your feet, the insole is 100% a necessity for me. I expected the slight increase the tightness overall with an insole. For the record, I wore these with just a regular pair of boot socks. They would not work with an insole if wearing super thick boot socks. I haven't tried them with tights but expect they would be even more comfortable with the insole without feeling quite as tight. Overall, I rate the boots a 4 out of 5 stars. These were a bit higher price point but worth it because they are quite comfortable overall. I plan to wear them year round and really get my money's worth! If you're looking for a sturdy but stylish pair of boots, don't pass the Malia up. I found that although the heel is chunkier than what I wanted, they're tall enough to elongate the legs in a flattering way; they have great ankle support and they are a cinch to walk in. I think they're a great mix of form, function and fashion! Even though I didn't get the shoe I wanted at first, that mix-up turned out to be a worthwhile purchase that led me to get this pair. I now have 2 great pairs of boots in my collection and I'm happy with my purchases overall. ... show more
