Used one weekend, put in the washer with socks and after placing in the dryer it looked like something ate the bottom. After a couple more uses, the sleeves appears to start unraveling. We have the white pair as well which are doing the same thing.

These sock sleeves are just that...sleeves. They fit tightly over your shin guards or you can use them like I did on a heavy deadlift day.
