  • Good And Bad
My son and I are obsessed with claw machines. We even play the app version ones. So I was really excited for the chance to try this out. This toy is a lot of fun and does work as intended but the construction is cheap and it will break very easily. For something intended for kids I would expect it to be more sturdy. Assembly was pretty straightforward and simple. No tools required. I couldn't get the sign on the top front to go on completely no matter how much I tried so it pops off all the time. This doesn't affect functionality but is annoying nonetheless. The whole thing will come apart if jostled too much as the plastic window panels and paperboard back panel are only held together by sliding into the skinny plastic corner pillars. There is only a shallow groove keeping the bottoms in place. The listing price is $60 at the time of this review and in my opinion this toy is only worth half that at most. The good: it works as intended. Pop a plastic coin in the slot and the music and countdown timer start. Use one levers to move the claw back, forth, left, right. The other to move up and down. And the last lever to open or close the claw. The music is cute and there is a celebration sound when you win a prize. There is a little drawer that catches the coins (and for storage). It comes with eggs, plush toys and squishy toys. Definitely enough to get started. The drop receptacle has very shallow walls so you can't really fill the machine up with too much or the prizes will just fall into the hole. TLDR: This toy could be great if it was only designed a little sturdier. Still, it works as intended and is lots of fun if you have kids that aren't rough with things, but the price is high for what it is. ... show more

  • Minor cabling issues
I watched the video (there is a QR code on the instructions) before I assembled this claw machine, so it was very easy to put together; however, after I got everything set up, the lights and sound worked fine but the claw wouldn't move. I had to completely disassemble the machine which took significantly longer than putting it together. Once I had the bottom control panel exposed, I noticed that one of the cables had come loose (I took a picture just in case anyone else has this issue). Thankfully, everything worked fine after I reattached it and I was able to get the machine up and running. Other than the assembly issues, my main problem is with the lack of access to the inside. I have different model and the entire back opens up with a door that allows you to refill and rearrange the prizes inside - with this one, there is only a very small access panel on top that doesn't allow enough room for average adult sized hands to move things around inside. Overall though, this is a fun little toy for claw machine fans - even my teenagers loved it. The claw has a good grasp and it isn't too challenging, even for younger players. ... show more

  • Small but fun
It's pretty small, but looks very cute. It is tricky for young kids to get but they had fun just moving it around and as an adult , I enjoyed playing it as well. Great tabletop game and would be great to setup as a Christmas gift

  • 5 year old approved!
I picked this out for my 5 year old niece. She loves playing the claw machine at Pizza Inn so I just knew she’d love this, and she does! She has so much fun winning the little toys (which are thankfully included!) The claw sticks a little, but give the controller a little jiggle and it starts moving again. It’s such fun for small kids (and adults!) 4.7/5. ... show more

  • Fun & unique toy
Took about 15 minutes for me to put together with the help of the video provided by the company (the product includes a card with a QR code that you can scan). This is a really fun toy that myself, my husband and our son all enjoy! You need to enter one of the included coins into the slot in order to "start" the machine. It gives you a minute to try your luck at grabbing a toy with the claw. It's not easy- but also not impossible to grab a toy, similar to a real full size machine in an arcade. ... show more

  • Fun and challenging
The media could not be loaded. A comparable mini version of the ripoff claw machines that make it impossible to get the prize. This one is actually possible to win but it is still challenging. One problem with this is the claw can’t reach the back corners. As long as the machine is filled with toys and you’re not down to a few in the corners, there’s not a problem. Otherwise, you will have to shake the machine to get them in range. Everything else about this is great. ... show more

  • Pricey fun
My kids love the coin eaters . . . err . . . claw machines. I have lost track of how much we have fed those starving monsters. This, although pricey, is a cheaper option in the long run. I was surprised at the quality . . . it is a solid toy once put together although isn't really intended to be taken on travel. I was a bit disappointed in the included toys. Of course you can use your own, but the included cheapos are no where near the cute and quality shown in the listing image. This runs on plastic coins and USB cords (or batteries). Waiting for the version that runs on chores. Just as challenging as the real deal, just not as expensive per turn. ... show more

  • Our whole family had fun with this!
I originally ordered for my twins who are arcade fanatics and was not disappointed! A little pricey but worth the fun we had with it! It does come disassembled and was easy to put together since it has clear instructions and a QR code for everything you need. I do like that is has two different charging options, both USB or batteries can be installed for a cordless play time. As far as maneuvering of the actual machine itself, it is surprisingly still similar to difficulty level of arcade claw money suckers!! I was expecting a way easier version but was pleasantly surprised by it! The claw itself has no problem picking up any of the toys- we did buy some random small toys to further fill the machine up with. Reach wise it can navigate everything besides the corners ( as expected). The time limit is 60 seconds and combined with the music it for sure gives a table top arcade experience! We had so much fun playing with it! ... show more
