  • Good quality for the price.
I am 6'4", 190lb. Snugpak bags have more room than most alternatives. I have plenty of shoulder room, and room for clothing at the foot box without feeling cramped. I am toasty at 25-35F. For smaller individuals during colder summer regions, i would suggest pairing your bag with insulating clothing layers or a light blanket (woobie or snugpak jungle/travel blanket, for example). If you use this bag for shoulder seasons, you may need to purchase the Travelpak 3 or 4. Generally for woman and lighter men, the 3 and 4, rated at 15-20F will keep you warm enough while this Travelpak 2 may leave you in a chill. Thinner than most sleeping bags for the same rating. Although slightly generous with their ratings, the insulation being sewn only to the inner fabric layer and not to the outer shell helps increase loft enough to reduce the bulk of insulating material. The outer shell is light and breathable, but wind and water resistant enough for most summer and shoulder season uses. It is durable but not bomb-proof. The zippers may catch. Like most snugpak products, of which I own many, the insulating properties compare to many sleeping bags of greater price, but are lighter and more compact. Downsides to lighter bags can be durability and warmth reduction. However, for the price of snugpak products the trade-offs are well worth it. ... show more

  • Very warm, very compact
I used this while sleeping next to a lake and the cold wind coming off of the lake was absolutely freezing. After jumping into this sleeping bag I was more than warm. I almost started to sweat. I’m very satisfied. Especially with the mosquito net attached to the bag. In the right circumstances you wouldn’t need a tent with the net. I take motorcycle trips with it because compacts into a small ball. For size reference, after opening it and packing it yourself. I can get it down to maybe half the size of a volleyball, on a good day. ... show more

  • Great value for price but not the same as down sleeping bag
I think the temp rating comfortable at low 40’s F as an experienced backpacker- had to wear my layers at night at high 30’s which is ok (cold sleeper). I would probably consider the Travel Pack 3 next time if not too much heavier/ bulkier. It’s my first time moving away from a down sleeping bag for spring/ summer. ... show more

  • I used for a multi-day trip
Came in as described. Works great! Nice and thin, so I didn't sweat as much.

  • Works great.
Motorcycle camping makes space a real issue. This bag has been a great solution.
