Our snorkeling trip was about an half day in the middle of the ocean. (near an island) Surprisingly, the mask was tight enough for me to appreciate the view of undersea for the entire trip. However, I was scared when biting the mouthpiece so accidentally swallowed small amounts of ocean water. My hubby was able to use it without issue for the whole time. As a beginner, it’s better to understand how it works and practice few times before jumping into the middle of the ocean since you might get nervous in an unfamiliar environment. I found them super cool and pretty, the material is good and it seems resistant. But the little piece that holds the pipe to the goggles got detached in the first try in the water. Had to fix it with a hair tie. So that sucked. I also noticed that the goggle would get foggy all the time. I got this for a trip I did recently in Mexico and I got to use the snorkel from the boat we used to go see the dolphins and their goggle would be blocking the air from the nose. Making it impossible to get it foggy. That’s probably how it should be I think, but the goggles from this purchase don’t do that unfortunately. ... show more

Bought these snorkeling kits when going to Hawaii and have been using them ever since! They work well and is every easy to use for casual snorkeling off the coast of Hawaii’s beaches! The goggles are adjustable and takes some time to get used to. Fog does seem to come and go but when I fit it right I rarely experience fog.
