The only reason I gave this a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because of the snorkel. The mask is great and works as expected. The snorkel itself is made of rubber and is flimsy. I have other more durable snorkels made of stronger plastic. But so far it has stood strong. But It is totally worth it for the price. Unless you want a really nice one then go ahead and spend money. But this one gets the job done ... show more

I purchased 2 sets of this Mask & Snorkel combination in January for our family vacation to Hawaii in late February. I am 72 years old and had not snorkeled for 30 years. My wife, my son, and I all used them in Hawaii and found the mask easy to adjust and the snorkel also easy to use. I had never used a snorkel with the shutoff ball but found that when I the snorkel was submerged it kept out 98% of the water, most dives 100%.
