I live a few miles from the ocean and there are many beautiful coral reef beaches teeming with aquatic wildlife. This snorkeling gear is great. The face mask has a very thick tempered glass face plate. It provides a panoramic view. The silicone mask is very soft and provides an excellent seal, keeping water out. It is also relatively thin, which is a plus in my opinion. The strap has a wide back side which keeps the mask in place. It is also very easy to adjust. The snorkel is mostly silicone and very flexible. It has an easy to use clip to attach to the face mask strap. There are some small parts to this that may break in the future but has not been an issue thus far. The snorkel is well designed and does a pretty good job of keeping water out while letting air in. The mouthpiece is silicone and easy to hold in your mouth. It also has a purge valve to let out any water that managed to enter the snorkel. It comes with a nice net carry bag that can hold more than the mask and snorkel. I would have liked for it to be even larger, though, to hold my fins as well. This is a very nice set a day trip to the beach for easy snorkeling. It comes with two masks and snorkels. This is great as I do not advise beginner snorklers to go out alone. I've never owned such a nice pair of goggles and snorkel. I stuck them on my face and the goggles formed a nice, soft cushioned seal around my eyes and nose, it felt like they were made for me. They are so soft and supple. The snorkel is well designed and has a valve of some description to prevent water coming in while you are sploshing about. I did not get in the pool to test them, are you crazy? Do you know how cold it is a few days before Christmas in Florida? I did knock the goggles off a 4' step ladder onto the concrete floor in my shop. No, this is not my regular technique for testing things. They hit the floor with a slap, face down naturally. Easy come, easy go was my first thought. Picked them up and crikey, not a mark on the glass! I think I'm gonna get the hot tub running tomorrow and go snorkeling in there with the missus. ... show more

Purchased this scuba kit for fun with the grandchildren. Comes with mask and airpipe in a drawstring bag for storage. Most of the kits that resemble this set are in the same price range. The only difference is the shape of the mask or the colors. Picture is pretty accurate and the description is accurate. It is a nice beginner set to use snorkeling.
