I was looking for a pair of snake chaps that I could wear all day and walk long distances in comfort.. For the money, these are outstanding. Easy to put on. They fit well and cover all the areas that need protection. I keep mine a bit loose because I do a lot of scouting and hiking. Occasionally I need to stop and adjust the gaiters to straighten them out. Tightening the straps will fix this issue but I prefer the comfort of loose fitting gaiters when walking long distances. ... show more

I like them a lot, less worry about ticks and no more worry about snakes. a few said they were hard to get on, I'm 65 yrs. old, 100#s overweight, if you can't get these on, you have more to worry about than snake bites. They are light, I had them on over jeans and socks, on an 80-degree day, walked 2 miles and barely noticed them. the straps could be a little longer for me because my left leg swells.
