We did not have a fence already, and you would not be able to use this as a fence alone without getting a support like we did. We recommend getting a 6 foot wire fencing roll, which you can buy at most big chain hardware stores. We needed one for 50 feet and it was around $75. We got steel posts that you just drive into the ground to add additional support. Altogether with purchasing the additional fencing and posts we spent less than $150 and were able to have a really great privacy fence! ... show more
