I purchased these Snailfly crossbars for my 2021 Kia Telluride at substantial savings compared to what I would've paid at the car dealership. They worked great, looked sharp, and were not difficult to install despite the somewhat confusing instruction sheet. I recently went on a trip with the crossbars attached to my car, and inadvertently unlocked the 4 attachment point heavy duty plastic covers with the key, thinking I was locking them on instead, and at the end of the trip I discovered that two of the 4 covers had fallen off and were lost. (The crossbars remained structurally intact, but the system was cosmetically compromised.) I contacted Snailfly through Amazon and asked if I could purchase replacement covers rather than having to replace the entire system, and they immediately responded with a nice email, including pictures of the various parts to make sure they knew what I needed. They then mailed me the two replacement parts free of charge! Arrived on time and packaged well. Heavy duty and well made, dimensions fit perfectly for our vehicle (2024 Kia Telluride). Still able to use sunroof. Instructions are, eh, OK I guess but it’s pretty easy to figure out even without em. Pop the outside cover, unlock it, slide plastic piece off, loosen bottom screws, attach to rails, tighten screws, slide plastic piece back over it, lock it, snap cover back on outside. Done. Drove a quarter of the way across the country with a loaded down large roof carrier, and the rails did not shift at all. Would recommend. (Zoomed in photos are just to give you a better idea of how they fit. Oh yeah, make sure you have flush rails for these and not raised.) ... show more

Product was easy to install once I found some videos on Amazon. Docked one star because the instructions should have been a little better. When opening up the brackets to install, the instructions I received only said to take the covers off, they don’t tell you that the key is what releases the covers. After watching a video, it was extremely straightforward. The cap of the one bracket wouldn’t stay closed, but customer service had a new set out to me in two days or so. Now that I know how to use them and the cap is one that stays closed, we love them! They were perfect for our last road trip and we have left them on the car since they are so quiet! ... show more

The cross bars fit well and look great on our 2022 Kia Telluride SX. I recommend keeping the key to unlock in your glove box. Also, before install, the longer bar goes in the front! As long as you remember that, installation will be a breeze. I will edit this review later if we have any issues with travel. ... show more

The first time I used this product, my kayak partially came off of my vehicle on the highway because this product cracked on the connection from the front bar to the to side rail. I had to make an emergency stop on the highway to get the kayak and straps off. Poor quality construction as this was well under the weight limit and strapped well. ... show more

    • Good value but horrible instructions
The product definitely is sturdy and seems to be doing ok. The problem is with the instructions. After watching a video review, I realized that the instructions in the video was 1 page with printing on both sides. I received 1 page with printing scaled-down to fit on 1 side. There were about 6 words and just pictures that were useless. Even with zooming in they picture showed a pail with being filled with "Cold Water". I selected this item because it did lock. However, it took me about 10 minutes to figure out that the keys need to go in on on angle or they won't fit. After the initial frustration with the set up they seem to be just what I wanted. ... show more

Seem like good quality and less than half the price of OEM. As others have said, the instructions are garbage. The ones on the product page are better to look at. Nowhere does the instructions reference the measurements of where these need to be placed, which I expected because the video shows him measuring and stating what the placement is. So thankfully you can just watch the video for that part. I had to have the end caps fully pushed all the way in as tight as they can go to get the bars to fit across the top (2020 SXP). I’d say don’t be shy about that and save yourself my repeated efforts of trying to fit bars on and have to keep climbing down to push them closer together. The end caps and bars are a very snug fit and it took all my strength to fit them, but I did it without having to get my husband to help. Overall, happy with these and looking forward to getting my kayaks soon! ... show more
