I purchased these Snailfly crossbars for my 2021 Kia Telluride at substantial savings compared to what I would've paid at the car dealership. They worked great, looked sharp, and were not difficult to install despite the somewhat confusing instruction sheet. I recently went on a trip with the crossbars attached to my car, and inadvertently unlocked the 4 attachment point heavy duty plastic covers with the key, thinking I was locking them on instead, and at the end of the trip I discovered that two of the 4 covers had fallen off and were lost. (The crossbars remained structurally intact, but the system was cosmetically compromised.) I contacted Snailfly through Amazon and asked if I could purchase replacement covers rather than having to replace the entire system, and they immediately responded with a nice email, including pictures of the various parts to make sure they knew what I needed. They then mailed me the two replacement parts free of charge! I was very impressed with the quality of the product, reasonable price, and especially the excellent customer service response to my problem. Snailfly has earned my loyalty in spades! ... show more

These work great. Installation was quick and simple and they look and perform just as good as the OEM racks that I also own. My concern was wind noise, but these don't produce any sound at all. I fixed the caps falling off by installing a stainless steel screw to secure them. (see photo)The only issue I have, which is my fault, is that i didn't lock one of the covers and it fell off, never to be found. I tried to contact the supplier to buy a replacement, but haven't been able to. To summarize, these are fantastic at one fourth the cost of OEM racks. ... show more

    • Really nice product with one flaw!
Easy to install, very nice looking, really well made except for the one major flaw that has been posted before about the flimsy plastic end covers falling of when traveling. When I first read the reviews about this problem I thought perhaps it's user error as it is often so I ordered the rails anyway. Well as soon As I took them out to mount I was struck by how flimsy the covers where and what a poor idea they have to attach them, they don't snap into place you kind of position them in place and hope they stay! Well first trip down the highway ones gone, not surprised actually I more surprised they all weren't gone! It's a real shame as these rails are excellent quality, make no wind noise what so ever and look fantastic, but this is a problem they need to address. If I can get replacement caps from the seller they are still worth every penny though. ... show more

Arrived on time and packaged well. Heavy duty and well made, dimensions fit perfectly for our vehicle (2024 Kia Telluride). Still able to use sunroof. Instructions are, eh, OK I guess but it’s pretty easy to figure out even without em. Pop the outside cover, unlock it, slide plastic piece off, loosen bottom screws, attach to rails, tighten screws, slide plastic piece back over it, lock it, snap cover back on outside. Done. Drove a quarter of the way across the country with a loaded down large roof carrier, and the rails did not shift at all. Would recommend. (Zoomed in photos are just to give you a better idea of how they fit. Oh yeah, make sure you have flush rails for these and not raised.) ... show more

    • Entirely defective
The installation process (which you have to watch / find online, as the included instructions are nearly useless) involves removing a plastic cover from each of the 4 crossbar holders - these are the pieces that attach to the vehicle’s luggage rack rails. I was unable to remove ANY of the plastic covers from the 4 crossbar holders I received, rendering the product entirely useless. I’m sending it all back and requesting a refund. The worst part: this was to be used so we could carry luggage on our car for a Christmas trip. Now there’s no time to get a new luggage rack, so we are completely re-planning our packing. I’m furious about this horrible product. Don’t buy unless you have time to figure out if the one you get will work or not - don’t assume it’ll just show up and work for you! ... show more

    • Non existent instructions!
I have only just gotten finished installing so can't answer to sturdiness or noise. But the instruction sheet was ridiculous! It was a copy of a copy of a copy that was reduced several times so it was completely unreadable. I even tried to take a picture of it with my phone and zoom but it was too degraded from the over copying. I just had to sit down and figure out how to put it together and then tried to watch the video that was equally unhelpful. I finally got it put on my car after a few starts and stops. It does seem to be sturdy and looks nice. We will see how long it lasts. I. A little nervous about the reviews that say it is noisy and the plastic flap comes off. Fingers crossed. I do like the way it looks on my Kia Telluride. ... show more

The cross bars fit well and look great on our 2022 Kia Telluride SX. I recommend keeping the key to unlock in your glove box. Also, before install, the longer bar goes in the front! As long as you remember that, installation will be a breeze. I will edit this review later if we have any issues with travel. ... show more
