Considering the OEM version of these crossbars costs almost twice as much, I'm really impressed with this alternative. The build quality is great and installation is simple. I have not yet put them through the ringer but I have a feeling they will perform just fine.

The instructions that came with this are really bad. I had do some research to find the original instructions and see how others installed theirs. That helped me get my Roof Rack installed. Note that these lockable roof rack cross bars have a 165 lb maximum loading capacity (make sure to distribute the weight of the cargo evenly). The luggage rack also works great for bicycles as well as the usual luggage-type items. These attractive, lockable luggage racks are made from lightweight aluminum, and are 2.36" wide and 4.71" tall, with a fully waterproof black powder-coated surface finish.. Once assembled, these crossbars are easy to put on the car (except the Volvo XC90 is quite high!). Each end of the bars is attached to the car's rail with 2 screws (I use a battery operated drill and an hex bit to screw them tight). On top, each end is secured with a hidden lock. Easy to install. Mine is a 2017 and fitted to size. Like that itnhas keys 🔑 and tool to remove them. Just remove the cover and it will have the key hole. Gives another look that I like. 👌 No issues.
