I've been a fan of my Smoke Trap 2.0 so much that I have 2 and cycle through refills every few months, but the 2.0 does leak when blowing smoke through it which can be problematic. The new design is round and offers a twist lock with a rubberized mouth piece and plastic body. The big selling point for me is the material that the filters are made of, which is a cardboard housing with filter innards. There is a very tiny amount of smoke that does get through the filter, however, it removes the smell and the smoke is almost imperceptible unless you're in a very well lit area. All in all if you have a need for a smoke filter for any reason I'd recommend this for its ease of use and it's well thought out design. ... show more

This is the 2nd smoke trap i've bought. I like this one better because it seems to filter all of the smoke better. This was just purchased about a week ago so can't say how long the filter lasts yet but i am happy with the product.

long time buyer of the smoke buddy brand of smoke traps, but liked the idea of replacement filters and an extra cleanable filter so i tried this brand. waste of $21.99. i went to use it for the first time and i exhaled into the mouthpiece and smoke poured out of the top. not just a little bit but like it was half the hit. i opened it up thinking maybe there was something blocking the filter, but everything looked normal so i tried again and the same thing happened. im not sure what the problem is, but i cant use it again. im only giving it 2 stars because it has to be better than nothing. ... show more
