I looked at quite a few Smith machines before purchasing this one. It's hard to decide what is going to give a good workout. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. First, putting the machine together took time and had to open 3 boxes before actually starting. It took about 8 hours to put it together. The directions were good though so no complaints. After putting it together, the machine is sturdy and I don't have concerns about it taking apart. The main bar has very smooth movement and works great. The safety stops on it are nice if working out solo. Most of the pulleys for the front of the machine are plastic but they seem good quality and rolled well. The height adjustment for the front of the machine allows numerous push or pull exercises and is great. There is a good amount of weight on the machine... 352 pounds. That is enough for most any exercise. I have used the machine just a handful of times so far and am satisfied with the machine. It is sturdy, well made, and I get a good workout.     • 4 stars... good video to build, solid unit good price... LOTS OF WORK (LONG REVIEW)
I'll try to come back and add photos later but here is what you need to know ***Watch the video before the install, and during the install it will help you understand what you are doing, and has items in it that the WRITTEN DIRECTIONS SKIP! for instance the back bar has bolts that go in from the bottom and if you have already built the sides you have to lift it off the ground to install them.... *** More notes/ thoughts... 1- I built it by myself with some power tool assistance it took around 8 hours by myself 2- the CABLE is tight and i have to pull it down to set the weights each time, hoping it stretches out, it has minimal adjustment settings (even with the bolt mostly out it still too tight) 3- I wish you could pick the side to put the 'foot pad' or even come with 2 foot pads for the "row function" currently bottom left side. 4- I flipped the direction of a few bolts for a cleaner look from the 'inside' 5- It is in KGS on both sides of the weight stack, no LBS numbers I am going to print some and add them myself 6- It has 2 stacks which is great to workout with my sons at the same time 7- YOU DO NEED at least 9' in width (minimum) if you plan to use the weight holders on the sides of the machine and be able to access them.. They recommend 11' CIRCLE 8- Very heavy duty and the cables/ wheels spin well I may add more later. ... show more

Unboxing took a couple of hours, and while assembly was a significant time investment (approximately 8–10 hours), it was well worth it. I strongly recommend watching the assembly video at the bottom of the product page—it was a lifesaver when used alongside the instructions, ensuring I used the correct screws and parts. Performance & Build Quality Once assembled, the stability of this machine exceeded my expectations. Every component feels sturdy, well-engineered, and built to last, making workouts seamless. The machine offers a full range of motion with excellent safety features. Customer Support – Above & Beyond During assembly, I ran into a small issue where the top weight in the stack wouldn’t stay down.
