My daughter is really into the surprise LOL dolls, and I wanted something similar for my son. This is the best tactile boy surprise gift. This was a major hit with my six year old. He LOVED the whole experience of taking apart the big egg, opening all of the bags, handling the slime and sand.. he definitely had a great time. From the parent perspective, however, it is way too much money for what it is 😅 Though my son loved it, it didn’t take him that much time to complete and then he was done. My Grandchildren ALL LOVED it! Great value for the money with several things to play with and fairly easy to assemble. The size was perfect for little hands This dinosaur,when out together was so sturdy compared to others we have done. My 7 year old granddaughter said, it's to bad they don't make fun fairy eggs....? I asked what did she mean? She said no slime and nothing fun to pay with.... It's like they think I'm afraid to get dirty. She said , "I love Slime"! All the kids played with this egg and dino for over 45 minutes, then added the dino to the paw patrol castle/dino and played for another hour! I purchased one of these for a Christmas gift when I seen that they were on sale. There are several surprises when you break open the egg. Each part of the dinosaur is inside the individual packets of slime or sand. It was a fun toy that gaged the childs attention for a about an hour.

My son wanted a Dino Smashers as a reward for potty training. It's something we used to encourage him to try, and he knew every sticker earned meant closer to his reward. I bought this because he has been doing great and I told him it'd be here later today. He knew it was coming and asked for it as soon as he got home. I was dissapointed to see that the item was smushed and appeared damaged. It was the only thing in the box, so must have been rolling around freely during shipping. I didn't want to return it since we had promised it as a reward which he knew he earned and expected it. So we gave it to him anyways, and thankfully he was so excited he barely noticed. I also realize they are supposed to be SMASHED, so damaging it as part of the appeal. Everything inside the egg was in good condition/wasn't damaged! The toy itself is fun because kids like to smash things, and it has different parts to put together and sensory items included which are fun. I thought it was fairly priced for what it is. ... show more
