I’ve had my Smartish phone case for my iPhone 16 Pro Max for a couple weeks, and it’s hands-down the best case I’ve ever owned. The first thing you notice is the incredible grip—it’s perfect! I never worry about it slipping from my hand, and the texture feels great to hold. Even has little groves for your fingers on the side. Beyond the grip, the protection this case offers is top-notch. I’ve had a couple of accidental drops, and my phone is still in perfect shape, no scratches or cracks at all. The edges are well-cushioned, and the fit is perfect—no loose areas, and it doesn’t add any unnecessary bulk to my phone. What’s also impressive is how Smartish managed to combine functionality with style. It looks sleek and modern, but it’s practical too. After reading the 1 star reviews my only conclusion is that those buyers must have received a very difference phone case than I. The one I ordered is the iPhone 16 Pro black Gripmunk MagSafe case. The case feels like it is a high durometer (hard) rubber. It is flexible while also being stiff. It is not a hard plastic case that will crack or transfer loads to the phone. The surfaces are all precise. The raised edges seem just high enough to protect the face and camera lenses without obstructing your fingers when using the screen. The buttons are precise and low force, and there is a precise cutout for the new camera slider button. MagSafe charging works perfectly. I have an apple MagSafe charger and it holds and charges the phone just as if there was no case at all. As far as grip, the side edges of the case have very fine pebbling which provides a very positive feel. The back of the case has a flat finish which provides good grip while still allowing the case to slide easily in and out of pockets. All in all this is an excellent case. ... show more

This case is about as thin as you can get, and fits the phone very well. It has grippy edges so fingers don't slip, and the MagSafe element works great. The buttons are the same material as the case (versus metal buttons), but have a good feel. The back is sleek, and not as gripping as the sides of the case, but that makes it easier to get in and out of my pocket. I don't know what the material is, but it does not have that weird rubbery-slickness found in silicone cases. Overall, this is a good case at a competitive price. One of the few cases that fits the iPhone 16 well, doesn’t add much bulk or weight and is comfortable to hold. The textured sides also have contours for your fingers that I couldn’t see in the pictures that make it even easier to hold. Nice grip without being tacky. Oh yeah, Also feels like it will provide good protection! MagSafe works well in addition to being compatible with built-in Tesla wireless chargers. Case arrived safely and quickly. I love the jade color, and it fits my Iphone 16 Pro Max really well! The subtle design choices for the case are so well done. There is a grippy texture on the side and even grooves for your finger, so that it is really easy to hold onto your phone. This really helped since i feel like the Iphone 16 is so thin and slippery without a case like this. There is a raised lip on all sides on the front of the screen, so no worries about your screen touching something directly facedown. The cutouts for the speakers and port on the bottom are accurate and there is a small cutout on the top too for the top speaker. The only thing that could be improved is the cutout for the camera button. While it is rigid for stability on the screen and sloped on the sides for easy access to the capacitive button, the raised edges do make it more difficult to slide along the button for the zoom function. Not really a big deal for me since I don’t intend on using the button much at all, but a working, capacitive cover would be preferred. Overall, it’s a nice case for only $20. A way better deal than those expensive $50 cases everyone is promoting these days. ... show more
