Bought this bag so I could carry my kindle around in something compact. It was perfect! I was able to fit my kindle, phone, hand sanitizer, deodorant, keys & cards. The bag doesn’t feel bulky either. Color is a little darker than I thought but still love how it looks.

Even though I use a slim crossbody bag/backpack as a purse, I frequently find that it even gets in the way when I go on outings like a theme park or a hike. I got this sling bag so I could have something that stays close to my body without much dangling, and it does work well for that. It sticks out further than my normal purse, but the straps keep it close. It's comfortable to carry, and it's large enough to hold everything I need, including a phone in an Otterbox Defender, a small notebook, and more. I appreciate the zipper pocket at the back to hold valuables like cash, credit cards, and driver's license. However, there are some things I don't like. First, the big plastic zipper and pulls look very cheap. They work as they should, but for a similar price I could have gotten a metal or nylon zipper that looks nicer. Also, there's a half-inch hold on the back for headphone wires. This would be fine, except it's supposed to be a water resistant bag, and there's nothing to cover the hole when it's not in use (and I'll probably never use it). I understand that it's not intended to be waterproof, but I'm skeptical of its water resistance since water can easily get through that hole. My body covers it to a certain extent, but it's not so tight that water can't get in. It's fine for an accidental spill on the front, but I wouldn't trust it for much more. ... show more

I've never been a fan of these cross body fanny packs lol But I folded and decided I would order one for my upcoming Vegas trip. Putting it on I found it surprisingly comfortable. I appreciate that it's reversible so if you want it to hang the other way you can easily make that adjustment. There's a surprising amount of space in it and it looks like it will easily hold everything I need it to. Two issues I have with it, it does feel a bit cheap but I have to remember it's not a super expensive cross body. My other issue is the hole for the headphones cord, this seems to defeat the purpose of a waterproof bag. All of my headphones are wireless so I'll never use that option but it's there if needed. ... show more

I got this bag for air travel, specifically for an upcoming flight where I'm sitting in a bulkhead row. I'm the rare flier who actually doesn't like bulkhead b/c I'm forced to stow my personal item in the overhead bin. So I got this with the intention of keeping my must-haves on my body (literally!) the whole time while my larger tote bag is in the overhead. I just tested it for size and was able to fit all my essentials easily (phone, wallet, lotion, hand sanny, wipes, chapstick, eye drops, ear buds, mints, even a standard 16 oz. bottle of water) with room to spare. I travel a lot and was looking for a crossbody like this to put my essentials in that would not only be great for sightseeing, but also to tuck into my larger, personal item, carry-on tote for flights so I can find my passport and wallet with ease. This is a terrific bag for all of that. Sure, I wouldn't want to use it for fancy evenings, but for everything else, I'm going to get a lot of use out of this. The zippers are smooth, the material is substantial and waterproof, the craftsmanship is much higher end than the price suggests, and the movable straps give options to carry it. There are several slip pockets inside, one on the outside (super handy for a phone and metro card) and a zipped pocket that lays next to your body for that phone and whatever else I need to keep safe when I'll be in crowded, pick-pocket prone areas.
