I really wanted a recessed light, but my light box fixture made that a difficult job the way it was installed originally. So I turned to this flush mount. Gives me the same look essentially, without all of the fuss of changing the box. It turned out great. The ring night light is really a nice feature that I use every night. Used 6 of 8 for lighting in garage with finished sheet rock. Running extra ceiling wire was biggest challenge. Installation very simple straight forward. Like how wire ends pre-soldered, so fool-proof wire-nut application. Like the design and low under 1" profile.
