  • Dog ate paddle
Color: Blue
My dog found my son in laws paddle. Enjoyed chewing the handle. This was exact replacement. Didn't enjoy having to buy this but my fault.

  • Solid, quality paddle for beginner/intermediate players
Color: Green
This is a nice quality, standard shape paddle which is targeted toward the beginner/intermediate level. I played with it today, and it has a generous sweet spot and nice ball striking feel/sound. The grip is comfortable and tacky, and the carbon face has moderate grit to it to facilitate spin. The build quality seems solid and the fact that it is made by Selkirk hopefully implies it is manufactured to a high standard. I found this to be a good all around paddle and definitely recommend it. ... show more

  • My new Excalibur
Color: Green
Wielding the SLK Latitude 2.0 pickleball paddle is like grasping the hammer of Thor or the hilt of Excalibur. A contraption not merely stitched together but meticulously crafted, an artifact offering delusions of grandeur—and delivering! The Rev-Core+ core and SpinFlex surface aren't just bells and whistles; they're a manifestation of twisted science and dark alchemy that gives even a mere mortal a fighting chance against demigods like Chuck Norris. Now, let's talk SPIN. You want spin? This monstrous implement will put a Tilt-A-Whirl to shame. SpinFlex isn't just a surface; it's an invitation to anarchy. You'll churn the air and distort reality, smacking pickleballs in trajectories that defy not just physics but, possibly, several municipal ordinances. Commanding the court becomes less a battle and more a ceremonial slaughter. This paddle, with its G4 graphite face, is as precise as a laser-guided missile system. It’s not just about hitting; it’s about hitting with intent—malicious, premeditated, calculated intent. And when you strike, oh, the THWACK resonates in a manner most sacred. That thicker Polymer Rev-Core+ technology isn't fluff; it's the meat and potatoes, the core of this ballistic masterpiece. Each stroke is an existential statement, every shot an act of defiance against the gods of sportsmanship and decorum. Spec-wise, it’s got the metrics of a stealth fighter—15.5" length, 8.25" width, and a weight teetering between 7.8 and 8.2 ounces. The grip is as if they skinned a unicorn and made it into a handle—comfortable yet rebelliously assertive. It's the sort of grip that says, "Yes, I'm about to ruin someone’s day, and I'll enjoy every wretched second of it." Do you want to merely play pickleball, or do you wish to ascend into the annals of pickleball legend, casting aside the feeble and standing toe-to-toe with titans? This isn't a paddle; it's a weapon of mass disruption, a Pandora’s box that should probably be registered with some authority. But then again, who’s got the guts to try and regulate this monstrosity? ... show more

  • My first pickleball upgrade
Color: Blue
I’ve been playing pickleball weekly for about 6 months (like 90% of Americans lol) and have been using a paddle that was part of a set. Frankly, that set seemed fine for my needs but playing around people who use something other than a no-name brand had me wornderimg if I was missing something. At the price point and based on the description and research on the brand, I decided this would be a good option for me to step into a higher quality paddle. And boy was I right. First off, the paddle is a little wider, but the sweet spot is much wider. Anything near the edge of my other paddle and it would come up short. With the Latitude 2.0 I make fewer mistakes in off-center shots. I haven’t been a big spinner of the ball as I’m trying to stay consistent in getting the ball in and placed where I want it, but I can tell there’s a big step up in spin there when I really want it. I don’t know how big the leap is to the next level of paddle, but this one should serve me well for quite a while. ... show more

  • Good quality paddle by Selkirk
Color: Blue
I've been playing with the SLK Omega Max paddle for half a year now and overall have been pretty happy with it. I decided to take a chance on this paddle and so far so good. I liked the grip on the Omega Max, which surprisingly worked better than any other paddle I've played with this past summer with my sweaty hands (have only really used Paddletek and Niupipo paddles previously). This grip is a similar material though and since it's Selkirk, I imagine it will also be good. So this paddle has a good sized sweet spot, and seems to have decent spin as well. The only thing this paddle lacks is power. As my game has gotten better I'm looking for something a little more powerful, but this is a nice control paddle and great to start out with for beginner and intermediate players. ... show more

  • Good paddle
Color: Blue
This is a very solid paddle , I know it’s not a cheap one but in the grand scheme of things it’s a great starter paddle ‼️when you start out the biggest thing to master it CONTROL , we tend to just want to hit hard and fast . This SLK isn’t that type of paddle , and trust me it’s a good thing ‼️The quality is excellent and I do love this blue variation . The weight is also excellent , not to heavy or light , and the sweet spot is extremely large ‼️ ... show more

  • Little too heavy and clunky for me
Color: Orange
Okay paddle for the money for the right person, but average in execution. Seems well made, the surface has a nice fine grain coating, but for me the paddle is too big, too heavy, too clunky. The handle is thick and average length and for my hands feels too big while also at the same time, being too short. The paddle is too heavy compared to some of my others and the paddle is large so the weight distribution feels off to me. Not going to use for play but will keep as an extra for guests. ... show more

  • Good beginner paddle
Color: Green
This is an excellent beginner paddle for a good price. It has a good bit of spin, reasonably good control (one of the challenges in cheaper paddles at this price point) and good power. It is well made and overall something I can recommend for people getting started with pickleball or shifting from a wooden/super cheap paddle to something that can help them improve their game. One caveat - this is a Selkirk so the handle tends to be a tad shorter than others. If you come from tennis who prefers longer handles, be aware of this. Otherwise, good paddle. ... show more
