Purchased for my wife who recently started playing with a womans group. This is a nice starter racket which is certainly up to her current skill level. The balls are an unknown brand but haven't broken yet. The bag is the weak link as it is ripping at the top after about 7 short trips to the court. Deducted one star for the bag but would still buy for the rackets alone. All in all a great starter set without a huge investment. Will upgrade in time if she sticks with it. ... show more

We’ve recently started playing pickleball and have quickly found it’s a game perfect for a variety of ages, skill set, etc. We had to repeatedly rent equipment on vacation and decided we must get our own set. This is perfect and we bought in both colors so we’d have four to play doubles.     • Decent paddles for beginners. The balls that come with it are very cheap.
I've played Paddle Tennis for many years but decided to hop on the train and learn Pickle Ball too. They both play on the same court with just one line added. I took recommendations from my Son who is a PB addict and bought this set. He examined the paddles and said they should provide great control but with medium power capability. Sounds about right for my Senior years! However, we tried a bit of playing with the balls that came with it and he threw them in the trash and gave me a set of other balls to use (which I must admit made play a bit easier). ... show more

This is a great pickleball starter set that will suffice until I improve to an intermediate level. My only complaint is that the included balls are not great. Everyone uses the Franklin pickleball.
