I got about an hour of good use out of these grips. Then they were garbage. They were slipping up and down on the paddle, making kayaking extremely uncomfortable. I do not recommend these AT ALL

I only have one paddle (for a SUP) so I put both grips on one paddle. At first I thought they were too loose because they do slide up and down, but when I actually hold the grip, the force of my hand keeps it in place, so it works perfectly. Much comfier than the bare paddle!

The media could not be loaded. Totally worth it!! Love that it came with two and was so happy I had these when I went tout my 2nd time paddleboarding! Fits any hands and easy to put on and take off! Easyt o clean and store as well!

We have several combo SUP/kayak paddles and I have been thinking about getting grips to make it easier and more comfortable for my wife to paddle. These seemed just right and some of the other reviewers said they were tight and they had to lube the inside and the paddle shaft to slide it on. That was not my experience. Before testing them I put foamy soap inside and on the shaft. They slid on without any resistance whatsoever. Soapy water wasn’t needed. I had considered modding with some thin foam packing material and packing tape, but was skeptical that it would work as intended. I needed another answer and Lo and Behold, its really easy. I slipped the soft, pliable ends over the wider diameter parts. It holds the grips well and they no longer slip or move at all, although one can still feel some play and torquing going on. But they don’t twist. Install as normal. Slide one end part way over the cam-lock tightener. You may have to grab and “peel up” the end somewhat, but it’ll go. Work it up bit by bit. The other side easily slips over the chrome spring-loaded button. Victory! You’ll still have 100% access to the cam-lock tighter. So no worries about that. For the spring-loaded button, simply feel for it and press to release. When replacing it, first look into the shaft cylinder and line up the hole with the button, as you slide the blade shaft into the main shaft. Yes, its more “work” than before, but easy enough and takes just a moment. The end result are paddle board grips that work as expected, mostly. Maybe the maker will read my review and tweak their product for better fitment. Although not perfect, I recommend these grips and would buy them again. 4 STARS! ... show more
