The pockets are pretty deep. I usually find that microfiber sheets start off soft but end up pilling over time- after a few weeks of use these look good. They are true to their color description, hold the color well after washing, and feel great on your skin. Unfortunately, they are a little thin for more stars. The sheet & cases are smooth and silky. They make it easy to slide out of bed. The fitted sheet fits the Ca King well, as do the pillow cases. I have washed the set and dried them in the dryer several times now, and there is no shrinkage, and no wrinkling no pilling. A great sheet set for my bed, & you can feel that the sheet is quality, but I just don't get that there's no flat sheet, even if you use a duvet. I would think having a flat sheet would keep the duvet or blanket cleaner - washing a sheet set is much easier than washing a blanket/duvet. I think I will stick with the sheet sets with both fitted and flat sheets. ... show more
