After months of praying to get lucky and failing to nab a RTX 3000 series GPU, I finally gave up and decided to go with a prebuilt PC. I have built my own in the past, so I was a bit uneasy with taking this route. The package arrived in great shape and labeled with the parts that I intended to purchase, including a RTX 3070 GPU. While it was not the best brand/manufacturer, in my opinion (Gigabyte), it seems to be running as advertised. When I first fired up the system, I did run into your standard “new PC” issues, up to and including the computer resetting when I tried to boot up Apex Legends (not a terribly high end game, graphically). At first, I was frustrated, but there is always some initial troubleshooting when you build a PC. After investigating drivers and other updates, I was still having issues. As of this morning, one of my last ditch efforts was to check my BIOS version. Surprisingly, a new update released on 3/5/2021, so I Googled how to update BIOS and had it installed in minutes. Ever since the BIOS was updated, everything has been working amazingly. I immediately fired up some high end games and they ran as smoothly as I could hope for. No more crashing! Also - I see a lot of other reviews complaining about the fan noise. When I updated the BIOS, the fan noise almost completely disappeared. I believe the update may have reset to default settings and I’m not sure if SkyTech adjusted them before shipping the PC to me, so I will be monitoring my PC temperatures to make sure that they do not need to be dialed up to keep the PC from overheating. Overall, and thus far, I’m incredibly happy with my purchase. For people that are less familiar with PC settings, BIOS, drivers, etc., do not be discouraged if you run into a few bumps after your initial boot-up. I’m certainly not a PC genius, so take your time and investigate any problems that you’re experiencing before jumping to conclusions. SkyTech’s website has a great FAQ as a starting point for reference. Overall, I would give the product a 4.8 if I could, just based on the hassle described above. Otherwise, I’m looking forward to playing the PC exclusives that I haven’t had access to in over 10 years!!! ... show more

I bought the Ryzen 5 5600X / RTX 3070 version of this computer. On arrival I was excited to get a good PC. Unfortunately, it arrived with a BAD GPU which was simply annoying. Aside from the GPU being BAD the first computer was decent had a B550 Motherboard a lot of room for improvement which is a reason people like to buy prebuilds. I then asked for a replacement computer to be able to actually use the computer I paid for.. Now the replacement was not even in the same league as the original.. went from having a radiator to water cool my GPU to this big clunky Fan.. the motherboard was old enough to have PS/2 Ports (Green/Purple Mouse/Keyboard Connection).. which to me is crazy in 2022, because we generally only have USB Mice now. The computer even came with a USB mouse so I do not understand. The second computer came with a Geforce RTX EAGLE GPU which is built for older and smaller motherboards.. I am baffled that both of these computers are being sold at the same price. Also level of RGB in both computers are on different levels. The 2nd computer pretty much had some RGB fans put in it which is nothing great. Overall avoid buying this.. you might get lucky, but regardless of price this computer is not worth the trouble. I tried to play WoW which I play on a Laptop with a 980m.. it runs worst on this PC.. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS COMPUTER AT ALL.. I will buy elsewhere or build my own.. this is not worth your trouble.. ... show more

I got this pc in 5 days from purchase date which is amazing. The tech that put it together actually did a good job with wire management. Overall surprised. I normally build pc's but for this exact'ish build I couldn't build it for under 2600. So overall this is a good buy. The cooler that came on the cpu was ok, I ended up moving fans and adding a water cooler(I prefer AIO's). Specs: Msi ventus 2x OC Ryzen 5600x Asus prime b550 ac-hes XPG 3200mhs ram I really have to complaints. If you are bios familiar I would definitely set your fan curves this game out of the box with 100% fan speed all the time. Also enable precision boost for your ryzen processor. DOCP was already enabled. This computer is a beast, Apex 150-200 fps 1440p ESO - 144 solid This will run anything you need it to for gaming this is literally the best buy on the market in my opinion, I looked on and off for over a year and ended up making my way back to this pc. Don't do a "custom" unless you want to wait 3 months for a pc. I would definitely recommend this pc to anyone and I would definitely do business with skytech again (given the market is still too crap to build a decent pc) also one more note, For fan orientation, I would recommend leaving the back exhaust, Put 3 fans on the bottom as intake, and (if your prefer) put your 240MML AIO as exhaust on the front of the case. I sit in the 50's gaming 90% of the time, barely spikes into the 60's even on prime 95 test. if you're looking just do it, there isn't a better buy with actual quality named parts. ... show more
