I've been flying my DJI mini 2 SE for a while, and normally, after about 2km, the signal starts to decrease. With this yagi antenna, the signal remained at full level without any fluctuation even after 3km. I think this adapter works as a kind of magnifier for the signal if you have a clear line of sight to your drone. I recently bought the Skyreat Antenna Range Extender for my DJI Mini 3 Pro, and I've been really impressed with the results. It's been a breeze to use - I just screw it onto the controller antenna and I'm good to go. It's also super compact and lightweight, so I don't have to worry about it adding any bulk to my drone bag. I've noticed a definite improvement in my signal strength, especially when flying in areas with a lot of interference. I'm not sure if it's the full 50% boost that the product claims, but I'm definitely flying with more confidence knowing I have a stronger connection to my drone ... show more

I tested these with my new DJI Mini 2, out to a place that on my Mavic 2 Pro, video connection is barely working. I got my the MIni 2 out there, and it was the identical problem with connection intermittent and also just being lost. Maybe on other drones it helps, but not for the Mini 2.

Easy to install and it does seem to keep the connection pretty solid, I can’t say I see major difference in distance and strength but I’m also pretty happy with the range I already get, looks pretty cool to, so I do recommend this additive for anyone wanting an even more solid connection.

    • WASTE OF MONEY
Like others I bought this thinking it would actually extend the signal on my DJI Mini 2 thus giving me 30 to 50% greater range. WRONG! Upon testing my signal strength with and without I determined this gadget is only for looks. I was already skeptical about it because there's no wires or power connection, it just simply snap onto the RC controller's antennae. I flew the drone out to it's max distance at about 200' until I had only 2 bars. Then I tuned the drone around and bought it back. Shut everything down and then attached the "extender" and took the drone back up. Got the same exact results with the "extender" as I did without. So I bought it back in and this time took the "extender" off, flew the drone out to the point where I had only two bars, snapped the "extender" on and WALA!!! NOT A SINGLE ADDED BAR. Same damn signal strength. Even when I did all this on the roof of the house I still got the same results. So if you're looking to just add some cosmetics then this will do that but as far as improving range or signal strength....not going to happen. Also, When I had the drone out at the distance where the signal dropped, I snapped the "extender" on and I swear the signal got worst! I didn't wait around to try and remove the "extender", I just brought the drone back to me first then removed it. ... show more

All I can say is WOW!!! I should mention the fact that I had a range extender for my previous drone, The Original DJI Mini and it was such a pain in the butt to attach to the remote control each time. But this one pops on so effortlessly, it's extremely convenient. Not to mention the fact that it seems very well made and sturdy. But the most impressive feature is this thing actually doing what it says it can do!! I quite Literally just flew my DJI Mini 2 to the very edge of my city and it still had excellent reception and response from the remote control. Had I not been too scared to continue across the Delaware river into Jersey, I'm sure this thing would've had the range to do it NO PROBLEM!!! I've never had range anywhere near as good as this. That flight was actually kind of scary to have gone that far. An ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE for pilots of any skill level!!! ... show more
