I was keeping my papers in manila folders or in my paper organizer. The ends would get frayed or bent and it would take time shuffling through my stack especially when I did it constantly. This is a great way to keep paperwork organized and separated. I put it in my purse with all of my other things and it keeps the papers just as I filed them. i was considering going with one that had fewer slots but I'm glad I went with this one, I can separate my paperwork much better this way. The outer plastic on this seems sturdy enough, but I'm not convinced the way the six inside separators (creating seven storage areas) are attached is going to hold up over time. No problem with them out-of-the-box, though. The 16 stick-on tab labelers were deep in one of the pockets when it arrived, so be sure to look inside the folder itself for those. Their stickiness seems adequate. I affixed one of the labels that they claim are removable, then peeled it off without any problem or residue. Only a few seconds passed, though, so maybe over time, it'd be harder to peel them off to put on a new sticker. But so far, no problem at all. The only downside for me, and this design feature is revealed in the promo photos, is that the very bottom of it doesn't accordion open nearly as much as the top part. I just measured the bottom maximum "stretch point", and it's about 2 centimeters / 3/4 of an inch. So just be aware it might not hold as much as the super-wide top opening implies. It's still nice enough for the price, so I'm not deducting any stars. I'd be willing to get another color next time there's a need. ... show more

This is a 7-pocket accordion folder that I ordered to assist with document storage and organization on the go. I ordered the black model with multicolored pockets. The folder is made of plastic and is fairly compact and has what I would describe as a hook loop to keep the folder closed. It's estimated to be able to hold 150 to 200 pieces of paper, though I have not filled it to that capacity yet. I've not had any issues in terms of durability, but this is also with reasonable, not particularly destructive use. It's done everything I need it to do. Overall, this is a reasonable folder for people who need to carry or organize a selection of papers, coupons, or receipts. Excellent filing solution at this price point. If you're looking for something of extraordinary quality and style, you'll likely need to shell out far more than 5 bucks, but if you're looking for something sturdy and well-designed to suit your everyday needs, this should fit the bill. Nice, deep pockets and an effective accordion style ideal for organizing and storing standard pages, and it even comfortably accomodates multiple pages secured by small binder or paper clips. Tab labels are included. They're way off in there, so you may have to hunt for them, but they stick and unstick fairly well initially. Not sure how easy they are to remove once they've been in place a while. The closure is effective but I'm not entirely sure how long that will last as it does seem a bit cheap and may not stand up to constant use. Again, this is not an heirloom, but it is certainly fit for purpose, and it looks pretty professional doing it. ... show more

Got this as a replacement for an old old similar folder that was black. What I first noticed about the differences between the old old one and this one, was that this was purple. That was good, because I ordered purple. Not just any purple. Like a nice calming shade of lavender. So that was a win. After that, I noticed that this also came with sticky tabs to write on so you know what is in each of the sections in the folder. I am pretty disorganized, so I got rid of those pretty quickly.
