I REALLY like the fact that the control is on the left side as I am left-handed. That was definitely one of the reasons I chose these. They are fairly short, they don't get in the way of anything. They are magnetic and very sturdy. They have a clip that keeps them from falling to the floor if they happen to pop out of your ears. They are very comfortable and fit like a glove with the smallest fit. I always struggle with earbuds falling out because my ears holes are small. So far, I haven't had any issues on calls with people being able to hear me. I also like that you are able to use the tile app with Skullcandy. Ive had three sets of these. They work great. For riding bikes or running or walking, the noise canceling is perfect. The outside world falls away. I also wear them at work in an industrial environment (which is why my attrition rate is so high). They are tough. Ive dropped them into brine and chemicals, rubbed them against metal, had them yanked out of ears, they survive. Eventuallly they will either stop charging or stop holding a charge and then its time for a new pair. That isnt, as far as im aware, a build quality issue as my wifes (which she doesnt wear to work in a chemical factory) have lasted nearly 3 years. ... show more

It's kind of clunky because the cable is very short and you have that big switch dangling right under the left ear bud. You wouldn't think that it would be heavy enough to matter, but it is. I use mine on the elliptical and it feels like it's going to pull out the entire time. It's also very difficult to tell if you've turned it on or off unless you have super-human hearing. I recently got a samsung s23 and to my disappointment it took away my wired headphone option. That jack saved my past phone more times than I could count. I cant sleep without music playing so I had to use the wireless cordless earbuds and every time I woke up it was a game of "where the heck did it end up in my sleep". When I got these, I was skeptical that I could sleep in them, but theyre surprisingly comfy and the sound quality is really good. It came with a bunch of different size options for the plastic bits. Now I just have to get used to charging them after I wake up so I don't get ready to sleep then cuss because I forgot to charge them. Baby steps. ... show more

Bought these to replace a pair from a discontinued brand. They sound good. Not audiophile quality (for under $20 they sound excellent). I never have issues connecting to my phone and they have exceptional battery life. In truth, I've been a slow adopter of bluetooth headphones. The incentive hasn't been there. My old corded buds still work, and I got another nice pair with a cell phone purchase last year. I was gifted a honkin' overhead bluetooth unit a few years ago which I quite enjoy, but this was my first set of buds. I was skeptical, but it's time to join the 21st century. Overall, I am pleased. Mid and high range is excellent. Definitely THE highlight. Great battery life. Comfortable. They look pretty cool. Good, strong magnets for secure neck carry. Tile setup was easy. The microphone is great for phone calls. Haven't tried it for video conferencing yet. The overwhelming criticism I read before purchasing these is that bass responsiveness is a bit weak. I think the bass responsiveness is adequate. It's not as rich as many have come to expect. Missing that low cradle is noticeable for sure. Though these buds do not bang, but they do the job. I think the performance is more than fair. Be advised that the squishy ear pieces have a profound influence on the quality of the bass. The pre-installed ear pieces were a little too large for my ears and I had to switch to the narrower squishies. With proper alignment, the bass quality greatly improved. I also recommend tilting them forward slightly. Use the smaller ear hooks provided int he packaging to get the right rotation. Folks with larger ears than mine might not have these issues. Again, proper assembly makes a huge difference in sound quality. TL:DR: An excellent value for the price. They won't please a basshead, but for everyone else these are a great gateway into bluetooth headsets, and are a good option as a cheap travel pair or gym pair that you don't have to be so gentle with. 1/1/2023 update: I've had these for quite a long while and they are still working well. I have not treated them gently at all, so kudos for toughness. Appreciating the tether for when I need to adjust my hearing protection or other PPE. The magnets in the buds are strong. They ride on my shoulders no problem. I'll even stick the bufs to the fridge when it's time to cook and I'm switching to my speaker. Just be careful with the rubber bits. They can slip off when pulling the buds out of your pockets. Forgot to add in the first review that they do come with a little pouch. It is soft and protective, but I never personally found it useful. My original rating of 5/5 still stands. ... show more

I can't detect any active noise cancelation. For me, they don't even fit in my ear canals well enough for passive noise cancelation, but that's personal preference, probably works great for some. I removed the ear wing thingies to get a better fit. I found the sound quality acceptable, but they'd sound better if they fit better for me. I use these at night, and when my music/podcast/whatever stops playing they make a brief hissing sound, maybe lasts 1/2 second, every 15 seconds or so. Not noticeable when something is playing, but I swear this has woken me up. No complaints about battery life, I don't think I've had them go dead at all yet. ... show more
