My baby is on the chunkier side and we struggled finding a good seat for him. We loved this seat and 10/10 recommend for babies with bigger thighs. It’s supports the babies but allows them to move around and explore at the same time. I bought both attachments to go with it and I am so glad I did. It can sometimes be very hard to get my baby in and out of this seat. I can easily get him in and out of jumperoos or activity centers, but his feet get stuck sometimes when I try to get him out of this. He also leans over and his arm can slide down and get stuck in this seat. The toys are cute, but my baby didn’t start tolerating sitting in this until he was 5 months old. He still seems to fall forward or to one side though. Update - now that my baby is 7 months old, he likes sitting in this a lot more and has fun with the toys. This seat is awesome if you have a chunky baby! No worries about their legs getting stuck when taking them out! The tray is a great add on! And it’s super compact for travel! It’s also machine washable!

My son was born 29 weeks and 3 days back in November 2020. Fast forward we are now at the end of May and my son is doing awesome! He is 6 months going on 7 months (adjusted age is 4 1/2 months), weighs 12lbs 10oz and is 25.5” long! He is long and slender and well we purchased a Fisher Price one kind of similar to this but it had too much of a gap in the seat for him as he is on the smaller side. He was NOT comfortable in it at all. Long story short I went over to his cousins house and saw this SKIP HOP one. As soon as I plopped him in the seat not only were the toys PERFECT EYE LEVEL to him, he actually engaged and reached out to touch and try to spin the toys! I love that he can pull the toys as they move to the left and right side (360 spin) which is fabulous because it makes it easier to help him learn to use all sides of his body and arms. LOVE LOVE LOVE this product as we are already a skip hop family I can’t believe I missed this one! So glad we made this purchase baby boy is super happy and fits PERFECTLY into his seat. My baby went from not knowing how to keep herself upright to only wanting to sit up in like two days. This seat has been an absolute lifesaver! I don’t feel comfortable letting her sit up on her own without someone around to catch if she starts to topple, but I need 15-20 minutes to pump in the morning. Enter: this seat! Where has this been the last year. My child has cp and can not sit unassisted. He has hit pain and gets very uncomfortable during supported sitting. I tried a bumbo and a sit me up and he hated them. I saw this and decided to give it a try and am so glad I did. The seat is wide and allows him to put his knees out so that his hips are comfortable and more like when you sit on the floor unassisted. It is just fabric to the frame so it isn’t over structured. My only problem is wish both sides of the belt came undone. Worth every penny. ... show more
