I have been dealing with an adult breakout for the better part of a year. I was SO over it. I decided to revamp my entire routine, and part of that revamp was purchasing this spray. My skin has completely healed itself and I am so relieved. At first, I was just spraying this on and letting it air dry as mentioned in the directions. However, after a few weeks, I decided to apply it to a cotton round, and swipe my face similar to a toner and it was game changing. I use it twice a day - in the morning after cleansing before any other products, and at night after cleansing before bed. I apply a generous amount to the pad and swipe away. If I do have a breakout, I start there, and then get a new pad and finish my face although that's probably not required. The reason why this smells like chlorine/bleach is because it's a derivative of that, but not the same chemically structured; don't PANIC. It's completely safe. If you have ever seen commercials for "Force of N@ture" spray cleaner,? It's effectively identical. Simple changes to the structures of chemical compounds make wildly different end ingredients. Hypochlorous Acid lives within you; it’s the substance your white blood cells that are created to fight bacterial infections. It’s also the active ingredient in electrolyzed water. Electrolyzed water is made when electricity is used to change the chemical structure of salt, water & vinegar into a disinfectant as effective as bleach, but with no harmful chemicals, fumes, or residues. This is so safe it can be used on babies, and food grade surfaces, however, it would be expensive to use as such. The more I researched about these ingredients, the more I loved it and I found out that it's FDA approved to use in medical facilities, surgeries, and hospitals. It's completely safe and extremely effective. It also kills mold, so antifungal in addition to anti microbial and anti-bacterial. As with nearly anything in life, some people may be sensitive or react if they have an allergy. For me, even using this on open wounds has been completely painless. So I got the travel size SOS Tower 28 spray, at first I didn't get the hype. I tried it on a flight to Italy and I felt like I still broke out. But I stuck with it and would use it after morning workouts if I had to run to the grocery or something and wasn't able to wash my face right away. I really started to like it. As crazy expensive as the Tower 28 spray is I went looking for the dupe and found this one that I can refill my travel bottle with. So side-by-side comparison of this SkinSmart spray vs. SOS Tower 28: Smell: Tower28 has no odor at all. SkinSmart spray has the distinctive chlorine smell that so many reviews mention. Ingredients: I can't find the exact breakdown of the ingredients in Tower 28, but the back of the bottle lists water, sodium chloride, and hypochlorous acid. SkinSmart has ionized water (99.918%), sodium chloride (0.06%), hypochlorous acid (0.018%), and hypochlorite ion (0.004%). Effectiveness: like I said, both sprays seem to not really do anything at first. But after a few uses it does seem like I have a reduction in post-workout breakouts. Use: After a workout, I pop into the bathroom, wash my hands and then mist my face with the spray. Then I just let it air dry as I leave. I like this for using to help curb body odor and keep feeling fresh, before and after workouts. I use on feet, pits, and face. Has very faint smell that dissipates almost immediately, dries quickly, and really works. Fairly large size so I expect it to last quite a while.

I bought this for my rosacea - did not help - and randomly thought to spray it under my arms. It kills bacteria, so I thought it might neutralize odors caused by bacteria too. Anyway, I no longer have to wear deodorant!! I have all the expensive brands - Aesop, native, salt and stone. They all help for a little bit, but by the end of the day I need a shower. This witchcraft prevents BO from starting. I still sweat, but it doesn’t smell. I don’t even have to wear deodorant anymore. I just spray it on after I get out of the shower and I’m good till the next day. The spray itself has a weird bleach smell, which goes away after a few minutes. Bought this as a more reasonably priced “dupe” for the viral Tower 28 spray, and I’m so glad I did. I have decently acne-prone skin, but for the most part keep breakouts under control using Cerave face wash, toner, liquid exfoliation, spot treatment, and moisturizer. This spray just enhances what I’m already doing, and has helped lessen the frequency of my breakouts. A couple of sprays on your face or targeted body area is all you need. Drys quickly.
