  • Great for learning
I got this for my seven year old to learn how to read. She has an advanced six levels since January I do recommend.

  • Cards are not recessed
I had thought the cards where the letters go would be recessed so the letters stayed in place, but they are just cardstock. My grandkids have fun with the letters but they get frustrated because the letter slide too much.

Would be nice to have some blank tiles to spell names

  • Should’ve read more about
I thought you had open spot to put letters not just lay on cards which do not lay flat and it’s my fault but would not buy again

  • Nice little set to make learning fun!
This little set is so cute and it makes learning small words fun. My granddaughter loves using the letters to make words that match the pictures. I recommend this set for your littles!

  • Just a simple way to make spelling more tangible
My littles love making this into a game to see who can spell the fastest. The pictures are bright and really draws in their attention. Let alone the letters are simple and easy for them to pick up.

  • Very educational
Very nice learning kit. I love the whole idea of this to help teach reading, spelling and even learning the alphabet. It is very educational and a great way to get your child ready for school. The cards are reversible and the letters are wooden.

  • Good Practice Tool!
Overall, this is a handy toy for any child who is getting to the age of practicing letters and spelling. The simple, interactive three to four letter word matching cards help form associations between letters, words, and images, which help accelerate retention and advance reading skills. My three old daughter enjoys "solving the puzzle" of each flashcard with the included letters, and the toy maintains enough variety to keep her interested for a decent length of time. The only real drawback of this toy is that it has A LOT of individual pieces and flashcards that can very easily end up lost or misplaced in the whirlwind of any playtime. As such, there can be times individual letters aren't available to match to cards and vice versa. Given that is the case, parents need to keep close tabs on all of these items to keep the toy whole and maximize the educational value of the toy. Long story short - This is a nice educational toy that engages young minds, but the high volume of individual pieces makes it a challenge to keep all of the components of the toy together. The included storage box assists with this to some degree, but keeping track of all of the individual pieces of this toy holds it back from being a true five star product. Good but not great! 4/5 stars! ... show more
