    • Good comfortable boots, loved them 'til they leaked

When my old Rocky chukkas started leaking after years of good service I needed new boots that would keep my feet dry. I walk a couple miles a day in [usually] wet grass, shallow streams , puddles etc. Didn't want to spend a fortune on them either. These boots are exceptionally comfortable right out of the box, and after three weeks have yet to leave me with wet feet. I don't know if they'll last for years but they show no wear at all as of yet. Good boots at a very good price point ! Update: 6 weeks later I am sorry to report the boots are no longer waterproof. My usual mile walk in dewy grass left me with wet feet and socks you could wring out. No apparent damage to boots which still look good and are otherwise comfortable. Great boots if you live in the desert. Very disappointed. Take two stars off. Update: Sorry to report that 6 weeks later they are no longer waterproof. My usual one mile morning walk in wet grass leaves me with wet feet and socks you can wring out. No apparent damage to boots, they still look good and are comfortable, just wet. Very disappointed. I had the same model boot for over a year without a problem so I purchase a second pair. This new pair started wearing out at the toe within one month. The quality has gone way down.
