Absolutely. The Skechers Burgin-Tarlac Industrial Boots are designed with comfort in mind for long hours of wear. They feature a memory foam insole for cushioning and support, and a padded collar and tongue for added comfort around the ankle. This makes them ideal for people who spend a lot of time on their feet.

To care for your Skechers Burgin-Tarlac Industrial Boots, regularly clean the leather upper with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. For tougher stains, use a leather cleaner. 🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The reviews present a varied perspective on the quality and comfort of Skechers work boots. Many customers appreciate the boots for their comfortable fit right out of the box, reasonable pricing compared to competitors, and the durability they offer for daily work routines. However, there are significant concerns regarding the boots' fit for individuals with wide feet, inadequate padding around the steel toe, and the boots' tendency to exacerbate foot odor. Despite some issues, the overall sentiment leans towards satisfaction, particularly highlighting comfort and value for money.

Pros

  • 👍 High-quality and comfortable even with the steel toe feature
  • 👍 Reasonably priced and provide good value for money
  • 👍 Durable and made to last with proper care
  • 👍 Aesthetically pleasing design that looks sharp

Cons

  • ⚠️ May cause foot odor for some users
  • ⚠️ Inadequate padding around the steel toe area can lead to discomfort
  • ⚠️ Sizing issues, particularly for wide feet
  • ⚠️ Some pairs take a long time to break in and soften

Should I Buy It?

If you're searching for a work boot that balances price and performance, these Skechers might fit the bill. They're particularly suited for users who prioritize comfort and durability. However, if you have wide feet or are sensitive to potential foot odor issues, you might want to consider other options. Weighing the pros against the cons, these boots are a solid purchase for the right person.

  • Comfortable but heavy
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Black
Dr. Scholls went way up. Im cheap. I dont want to spend a lot of money on work boots. These were reasonably priced, they looked good and were non slip. They were Skechers. Never tried the brand, but I had heard good things. I got a couple of pairs and I love them. If they leave the price alone, I will buy more. If they follow Dr. Scholls, I wont. I don't care how good they are, Im not paying $90 for a pair of work boots. But these are great! A little heavy, but they are steel toe. Dr. Scholls were ultra lightweight. These are not as comfortable, but for the difference in money, they ROCK!! These so called intelligent types that run big companies feel it is a good idea to raise prices on things that are selling good. Not smart enough to understand that the price point has a lot to do with that fact. They raise prices, the product stops selling. Morons are scratching their heads wondering why they aren't selling as many. Its amazing to me how stupid these smart people are. I wonder sometimes how they can walk and breathe at the same time. Its the same with all of these morons. Raise the price, the product is selling. Before you know it, the product has been discontinued due to lack of sales. Try going back to the old price! You might just be surprised. Buy the Skechers! They are good! ... show more

  • Comfortable. Good value.
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: Brown
Correct size, 9W, for me. It is difficult to find the wide width for steel toe work boots. This one is the correct size for me and hence, comfortable! Price is very reasonable. The only thing I have a little issue with is the descriptions states that it is leather upper with made made balance materials. However, without proof, I believe that the upper is actually made made leather. Again, it is my guess, and I have no proof. ... show more

  • Pretty good work boots.
Size: 11 Color: Brown
So far so good. These boots are a little stiff. The sole is decent but not the best. You may need to add another comfort insert to get better comfort but like I said they are decent. You can wear pretty much through a 8 hour work shift with the insert that come with these and your want be too worn out (buy a companion insert for more comfort). Your feet will sweat in these. Make sure to buy the correct fit so your feet are not sliding around. I usually wear size 10.5 and bought size 11 and these fit just right. They also squeak when you walk. Just the leather hasn't been broken it. I've had these for almost 2 months and they still squeak. Anyway these are extremely great value for the price I paid ($39.99 on sale). I've bought $80 or $90 boots that weren't as good as these. The strings are okay, but last pair I had of these the boot strings broke and had to get a new set. Over all the steel toes are a plus working with heavy equipment. And the soles have great traction on wet surfaces (unless you step on wet leaves walking down someone's wooden ramp). ... show more

  • Thrown Away After 2 Months - Worst Boots EVER!!
Size: 11.5 Color: Black
UPDATE to my original review: Ended up tossing these boots in the trash. As mentioned before, my feet have never smelled until I wore these boots for work. These boots somehow brought out the worst foot odor and you could never get it out of them. Of the 10+ pairs of boots and shoes I own (some 10yrs old), my feet have never smelled and they never smelled. Secondly, 2 months of trying to wear these and they have been the worst and most uncomfortable shoes/boots I have ever owned. Blisters and sore feet since day 1. They are so bad that I wouldn't give them to a homeless person. Their name was good when they first came out....but now, I am not sure. Here is why... 1: Inside of the boot is cheap and you can feel the steel toe edge inside the boot on top of your foot. Very thin material and even had a crease in foot from this edge when laying on ground working for a while. 2: Odor-accelerating insoles. I have NEVER...and I mean, NEVER had stinky feet problems until I got these boots. Within 2 times of wearing them they smelled awful of foot odor... Yet, all my other work boots and shoes have no odor at all. When I wear these for a few hours just walking around, you can start to smell foot odor from them. I don't know what or how this is possible, but when I change into my 14yr old boots I have no issues. 3: Not sure what they tested anti-slip on...but these boots are the worst boots on wet surfaces or around oil or grease I have ever owned. They seem to absorb oils and grease and track it worse than anything I have owned. Getting on a ladder with them a little wet is almost asking to slip off a rung. 4: Take a long time to break in. After blisters on heels and feet, they took nearly a month to break enough to not be so stiff... I work 12-14hr days on my feet and these boots broken in have to be taken off after about 8hrs or so and switched. They are so stiff and you feel every little edge and bump in these boots. I have a set of walmarboots for a 1/4 of the price that were some of the most comfortable and durable boots I have had aside from my expensive ones. Cheaply made, not tested properly, uncomfortable, has serious odor control problems, insoles flatten out within a week, and overpriced. ... show more
