Game changer for reading in bed on those cold nights, or for when you don’t want to depend on your thumbs to turn the page! I’ve used it every night and haven’t had problems with it. I use it in conjunction with a gooseneck holder that fits my kindle. Used in conjunction, the page turner doesn’t work well with a cover and the gooseneck holder. This device has spoiled me as far as reading goes on my Kindle Scribe. Who would have ever thought that a remote control for a digital ebook tablet could be so great? I give this product 5 stars across the board, but I have to be honest that I have not used it enough to see how good the battery life is on it. I really don't have any complaint about this page turner, except for one. It has two buttons, and both of them will only flip pages forward. You can not flip page backward if you needed to. Besides that one thing, I think this is a great product and I like the fact that when using it, and with my Kindle Scribe propped up on a stand, I don't risk dropping my tablet, so that is a really good advantage for using this. I've used a Kindle in some form for 20 odd years (yes, I'm old - deal with it) and until a few weeks ago I'd never thought of using a page turner or a mount/rest with my Kindle. Folks, this a game changer! It means I'm a lot more comfortable when I read. My eyes are at the right distance and the page turner is a small luxury, but luxury it is. The remote is fairly small and so is the turner. It took only a moment to connectt the remote to the page turner itself. Simple. And dead easy to use. The only downside is you can only go forward. Highly recommended and why doesn't Amazon itself include Bluetooth functionality for a page turner with a _back_ button? ... show more

I love this thing! It is so convenient and I love that it flips the pages for me. The only issue is that the battery in the remote is constantly dead. I will charge it, unplug it and use it to read for a few hours. Then if I don’t use it until the next day, the battery in the remote is dead. It’s almost as if the battery is being rapidly drained even while not in use. This wouldn’t be such a big deal, except that you cannot use the remote while it is plugged in, so it is basically useless while charging. The clip piece does not have this issue at all and the battery has lasted very well. I’m not sure if I just got a defective remote as I don’t see this complaint in other reviews, but it is very annoying. ... show more

I'm not about to call this device life changing but there is a use case that I think many will find beneficial. Do to sins in my past when young and invincible, I am stuck with an arthritic wrist which is an unwanted, annoying, daily friend. I can manage it with medication or heat treatments but I noticed episodes would be worse following evenings spent doing a lot of reading. I read a lot and that increases when I can't sleep due to wrist pain. When I saw this product it spurred a thought. Maybe, if I wasn't holding a book (kindle in my case) for several hours every night, sometimes at weird angles, it may reduce the severity of the wrist pain. The price point was reasonable in my opinion so I took a chance and ordered this device. I paired that with a flexible, magnetic, gooseneck phone/tablet holder and changed the way I lay down at night reading. Its not perfect but after a little experimentation, I have found a way to stick my kindle in the air at a good reading distance, comfortably hold my hands wherever they naturally want to rest and turn pages with a quick click of the button. This works both laying on my back, sitting up in bed or resting on my side looking towards the close side of the bed. I can even make it work if laying on my stomach. The one use case it doesn't work is when laying on my side facing my spouse. That is more of a limitation of the gooseneck holder than the clicker. I simply tug off the kindle from the holder and rest it on a pillow on my other side if I feel like it. I'm still subject to my kindle getting knocked over but its works. The side benefit to being able to have my hands comfortably under the warm covers on a cold day is hard to overemphasize too. How quickly we adjust to more creature comforts. I even use the clicker now when reading on the couch. If I were a cat, I would be purring loudly. I've noticed a significant reduction in wrist pain and my spouse has talked about getting one for herself after originally giving me a bit of a light ribbing for this expenditure. I still have bad days but I have no regrets in spending the money for this setup. The clicker device itself has worked flawlessly in the month I have used it. It does go into sleep mode faster than my kindle but its a simple click of a button to wake it back up and you can start turning pages again. Mostly happens when I'm in that nodding off but not really moving into deep sleep mode. The clip holding the clicker to the kindle screen is well engineered and is easy to straighten if I knock it too much. The remote works perfectly and charging with a USB-C port on both pieces is a nice touch. I alternate plugging each of them every week. Have not had either run out of battery power yet so can't really tell you how long they hold a charge for. I don't really use the wrist strap for the remote but its nice to have that available. ... show more

This is a game changer for my evening reading! I have an iPad mini and use the Libby app to read most of my books. This pairs so easily with the remote and fits well on my tablet. I have not experienced any battery issues that others have mentioned. I’m on day four and have not had to recharge either the remote or page turner and it has stayed paired together.
