  • Good value - but great value if you can nab it on sale
Capacity: 2TB
2tb of NVME storage is a really great deal. I got mine around $140, so stay focused on Pcpartpicker's price tracker, I'm sure the price of this will dip around holidays or Black Friday or something. Then it's a REALLY good deal. As for performance, I don't have any other NVMEs to compare it to, but it works well goes fast. No problems here :) installation is easy. ... show more

  • 2400 MB/s Write at 80% Full
Capacity: 1TB
Read speeds are as advertised, but write speed has halved with ~800GB/1000GB being used - no complaints as this appears to be normal. No noticeable performance decrease.

  • PC Tech of 30 years - As advertised, it bests my favorite NVMe drives
Capacity: 1TB
I was NOT a big fan of Hynix until this particular model came out. Cons: No support phone in the USA Pros: Lots of great things, plus online support Online support is how you reach them if there is an issue. Amazon is a direct seller, so it means if you bought from Amazon itself, the warranty is honored by the OEM. Superior read write speeds to its competitors. Pricing varies, but matches the competition. Good Warranty. About Warranty... The thing I love and hate about Amazon is it allows third party sellers. What the BUYER IS NOT TOLD, is if you buy 'Sold by Amazon Ship by Amazon' then you get full warranty. If it is sold by a third party, the Hynix warranty may be limited or void altogether. Buyer beware. I have been burned by this in the past. Even if you bookmark a product, that link can change to a non-authorized Hynix seller without your knowing it was switched. Always check before you push the BUY button. ... show more

  • Fast
Capacity: 2TB
Best buy for the money super quick. Crystal disk mark showed 7344 read and 6422 write. Windows loads so fast I no longer get a loading sign. Used Disk Genius to migrate the OS. It's free and fast Took all of 4 minutes. Will buy again.

  • Upgraded My Predator with some platinum
Capacity: 2TB
My Predator came with a 256GB Intel NVMe drive so this 2TB Hynix P41 is a welcomed upgrade allowing more space for games which are getting into the 50+GB range. Slapped a heatsink onto this drive and it has stayed fairly cool under heavy use 111F which is really good, the laptop startup is quicker than the intel drive. So if you have a Predator (PH315-51) this drive will increase your gen3 speeds but won't enter gen4 territory since this model won't support it. ... show more

  • More than ample 2TB SSD storage capacity, a snap to install, for a fair price too!
Capacity: 2TB
More than ample 2TB SSD storage capacity, a simple snap to install, for a fair price too! Hynix has been making reliable, and professional PC memory cards since the early 80's. I know this statement to be true, because I'm still using some of their Hynix memory cards made in the 80's to run some of our old IT legacy Windows XP computers at my work and on the job everyday... Hynix makes some excellent SSD storage cards as well. I bought one of their high performance SSD cards earlier this month and I put it straight into my HP Omen 16 gaming PC at home, with no problems this SSD card works like a charm and read/write access speeds are indeed much faster today than any other SSD card that I've bought here on Amazon in the past year or two... So, if you want an extremely fast and reliable SSD card, then buy a Hynix brand SSD card and you won't ever be sorry that you did... I'm not sorry that I did at all! Cheers, RMT - 11/12/2023. ... show more

  • fast but.....
Capacity: 1TB
This drive is fast, very fast, but i would not recommend it if your using it for a laptop. I had to upgrade the wd pcie 4.0 nvme drive that came in an hp laptop i just bought because i filled the old one up almost immediately. One of my main criteria was efficiency as the battery life in the laptop is abismal to say the least. After reading expert reviews and tests online all saying this drive is fast and very efficient i jumped at it when i saw it for a decent price. I also have experience with ak hunix drives as i have their s31 sata drive in a desktop n i love it. Cloning the old drive over was a snap, sk hynix gives u an sk hynix version of macrium that works very well. I plopped this thing in and immediately noticed it was fast moving a 16gb file at 2000mbps where i only managed 950 with the old wd drive on the same file. But then i noticed my battery seemed to be draining at a quicker rate. To verify i let it die and charged it up completely before turning it back on and letting it sit idle until it died to see what kind of battery life i got on idle. Sure enough i went from an alteady terrible 6 hours on idle with the wd drive to an even worse 4 hours with the p41 in it. When i used the thing it was like it was sipping battery through a straw giving me 1 n a half to 2 hours. I also noticed it ran hot, sitting around 41-46 degrees c most of the time. Needless to say i didnt keep this drive in the computer, instead opting to buy a 1tb samsung 980 pro(alittle slower but runs cooler and doesnt eat the battery so fast) and i kept this one as a backup. Hopefully they fix some of these issues with firmware updates in the future because it really is a nice drive. Unfortunately for right now if your trying to get a nvme drive for a desktop computer, this one is highly recommended. But if ur trying to get it for a laptop, i say stay away and opt for something else unless u dont mind trading battery life for the speed it delivers. In that case have at it ... show more
