I have tried many other strainers and find these to be the best. The sink drain strainers are an absolute for any kitchen but especially if your home has a septic system. Before purchasing the sink drain strainers in September 2021, we had to treat out septic system at the beginning of each month because we'd hear a regurgitation in the main line. Sometimes we have to call to have the lines unclogged. Well, after placing these strainers in the kitchen sinks, we haven't had any more regurgitation in the main lines. These strainers will catch what the eyes cannot see. We empty the strainers after cleaning the dishes and you'd be surprised how much they capture. If your home is on a septic, you know what it costs to clear a line. These sink drain strainers have saved us $$$$. They are worth the buy. I only wish we'd known sooner. ... show more

These are 1000x better than the cruddy cheapos we used to have. It is like night and day. Catches so much more garbage.
