    • Small, but mighty and versatile.
This coffee and tea maker is well-made, versatile and fun to use. It’s narrow and doesn’t take up much room. It is a single serve maker, so you need to add water with each serving. It's lightweight, but very sturdy. I tested it first with a coffee K-cup pod. Worked great. It took about 2 minutes and 15 seconds to brew. I recommend pushing the pod down before closing the lid. I found it easier doing it that way. The water temp was around 175°F. When I brewed just water, the temp was as high as 185°F. Next, I brewed iced tea. I didn’t have loose leaf tea, so I tore open a tea bag. It held about 1.5 tsp. The recommended amount is 1-2 tsps. The tea tasted great! However, there were tea leaves that got through. I had to strain the tea. It could be that tea leaves in bags are finer cut than loose leaf tea. So, I’m not downgrading for that since I can’t say how it performs with loose leaf tea. I also tried brewing iced tea putting one tea bag in the holder. It brewed just fine and tasted great. For a stronger tea, I will try two bags next time. I will definitely enjoy making hot or iced tea throughout the year. Lastly, I brewed a cup of hot and iced coffee using fresh ground coffee. Again, it was a success. Both the hot and cold tasted wonderful. The only thing you need to pay attention to is how much tea can be put in the tea holder. The instruction manual states there is max line on the holder, but I couldn’t find one. The instructions state 1-2 tsps. So, I’m not really sure if that’s per 8 oz or what. I plan to contact the seller to find out. This maker comes with a descaler indicator so you can keep it clean and working great. This Tastyle coffee and tea maker is wonderful appliance that’s easy to use and produces great coffee and tea. The water gets plenty hot, which I like. The first thing I noticed about this coffee maker is how lightweight it is. It is made of a very lightweight plastic. I did try a k-cup in it and it worked fine. It comes with a recipe book to make specialty coffees but I haven’t tried any of those yet. I haven’t tried to make tea with it either but it’s supposed to do that. I mainly wanted to use it for k-cups. I figured it will be perfect to take when traveling since it’s so light. I like that it’s a white color as well . ... show more

    • Works well, easy to use, small footprint
This is a neat little coffee and tea maker that works well and it easy to use. My son loves to brew tea so he asked for this handy little appliance. At first I was hesitant because I didn't want another small appliance taking up counter space, but I am happily surprised at the small footprint this coffee maker has. It doesn't take up much counter space at all. I also love that it's so versatile, because it can brew both coffee and tea. I also like the refillable capsules because they prevent me from needing to buy expensive pods. Of course if you prefer pods, this little brewer accepts them, as well. And since it brews right into your cup, there's not pot to worry about or clean. It did take a little trial and error for my son to find the cup he prefers to use in this tea maker, but he easily found an insulated to-go cup that he likes and that fits under the dispenser. He has also been experimenting with the perfect amount of tea to add to the little basket to make a large 16-ounce tea. You can brew up to 16 ounces of coffee or tea at a time, so this probably isn't a great choice if you like fixing a big pot of coffee or tea to leisurely pour from and refill everyone's cups throughout the morning or afternoon but it is perfect for one or two people or for people who have different schedules and typically want a cup or two of coffee or tea at a time. It would also be a wonderful addition to a small apartment or dorm room. Overall, this is a neat little machine that lets you up to 16 ounces of brew coffee or tea at a time, and brews it right into your own preferred cup.     • Better Than I Expected!

This single serve coffee maker comes with all the accessories shown - like the different coffee/tea holding pods. It has a really large water reservoir capacity - a regular 8oz cup only fills it a quarter of the way. I will say, the height of it makes the water reservoir capacity a bit disproportionate. Any cup that would fit that much water will be too big to put underneath the spout to begin with; but I digress. The coffee maker itself brews nice and hot. There is a high-pitched hum that happens whenever it's actively brewing - it isn't loud, but it is there. I first tried just making hot water, then made a coffee. When I made the coffee it made a chugging sound as it was dispensing into my cup, which was kind of odd. The coffee itself tastes good, it comes out a good strength at least compared with other kuerigs and the aeropress I use. I haven't tried the over ice/iced features yet, but I'm looking forward to testing those out soon. It's a good option if you just need single-serve coffee/tea, and want the flexibility to either use pods or your own grounds/loose leaf tea. Oh P.S. there's no on/off button. You plug it in, and it's on passively for whenever you decide to use it. ... show more

The water reservoir is just over 16oz. It will brew the entire amount of water you put into it. There is a brew cup for tea leaves as well as a large basket for coffee grounds. There is also an insert is you like using the K-cups. The body is the unit is basic but I was impressed with the basket lid area. It closes firmly and has a latch to open the basket area.
