This small coffee maker is exactly what I was looking for. My three favorite things are: 1. The 40 ounce water reservoir in an overall small unit. 2. It’s very light and small. The weight makes it easy to move. 3. You can use boughten pods or your own coffee. It comes with four extra reusable pods. It’s very quick! I brewed the largest size (14 ounce) and it took less than three minutes. It's very easy to clean. It comes with a very helpful user manual and has a nice control panel that takes a very light touch. They recommend distilled water for optimal flavor and I agree. It made a very good cup of coffee. User manual also gives some great ideas for blending your own personalized coffee flavors. My main reason for wanting this particular coffee maker is so I can take it from home to RV or boat without a lot of extra weight or space and this one is perfect for that. I also like that there are no easily broken pieces in the set. Overall, a great little coffee maker that I can definitely recommend. My rating method: 1 star - terrible. I wouldn't consider buying it. 2 stars - marginal at best. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk. 3 stars - average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. If the price is good, I'd probably buy it. 4 stars - better than average. Exceeds the typical quality of a product of this type and has a few extra features not usually found on other products of this type. I'd buy it. 5 stars - exceptional - far exceeds the quality of products of this type. Hard to beat the quality and features included. Best value for the money.     • Perfect Coffee Maker For My Classroom
I bought this coffee maker for my adult education classroom because my students kept asking if we could have coffee. I told them, "If you bring your own coffee, I’ll get a machine," so here we are. So far it's been a hit, and honestly, I’m pretty happy with it too. One thing I really like is that it comes with a reusable pod. I encourage my students to use it because those single-use K-cups aren’t exactly great for the planet. But I’m not a coffee cop so if they want to bring their own pods, they’re welcome to. It’s nice having options since some people prefer tea or ground coffee instead of pods, and this machine can do all of that. The water reservoir is a solid size, so I don’t have to refill it constantly, even when a bunch of people are making coffee. It’s also compact and doesn’t take up much room, which is great because my classroom isn’t exactly huge. Plus, it’s super easy to use. You just pick your brew size, pop in your coffee or tea, and you’re good to go. I even tried the self-cleaning function, and it worked like a charm (bonus points for that!). Overall, my students love it, and I like having a cup of coffee at my desk now and then too, even though I'm not a big coffee drinker. The media could not be loaded. I have been really happy with this coffee machine. I had a Keurig for years that is finally crapping out. We don’t drink a lot of coffee, so we needed a coffee maker that didn’t take up a lot of space and could easily make two cups of coffee. This has done the job for us. It takes k-cups which is exactly what we need it for. However, it does have adaptors for ground coffee and tea, which is awesome and a definite plus. I like that it has descale settings, which my Keurig does not. Just having the cleaning option is great. I also like that it has so many sizes to choose from. I have been using the 8 oz which has been great with my K cups. I like the removable reservoir because it’s actually really easy to clean and so is the drip tray. The machine itself is very light and easy to move if needed. The quality is nice as well. You get a lot in a small machine. There are, however, a couple of drawbacks. First, it can be a little loud, but it’s not horrible. It does take about 3 minutes to heat up to make the cup of coffee. That’s not bad, but my Keurig would keep the water hot so I could make cups pretty quickly. As soon as I finished one, I could make another one quickly. With this I have to make one and wait for it to heat up again. Thus, another 3 minutes as it heats up. It’s not a deal breaker though, but if you are used to back to back cups of coffee made quickly then keep that in mind. It doesn’t hold a lot of water, but a good amount for a few cups, which is perfect for our needs. Overall, I really like this coffee maker so far and the many options it comes with. I am interested to see how long it holds up. It comes with a two year warranty, which is good. I will update if I have any issues anytime soon. ... show more
