It’s the perfect gift for any kid 7 and under. My son loves it and he has been on it everyday because he loves that he can connect it to my phone and sing the songs he loves. It’s also really cool with the color changing and the sound is really good.

This is an excellent little karaoke machine. It can be battery operated in case you want to take it on the go. I've only used it at home. Big bonus (for me at least) is that it's dual voltage. Since I'm living in Germany, all I need is an adapter (no transformer needed). The audio quality is good too. You can connect to a TV via HDMI or bluetooth if your TV supports it. I like connecting via bluetooth to cut down on cables. Then all I do is pull up my TV's youtube app and search for karaoke lyric videos. The sound will play through the karaoke machine and you can sing along with the lyrics on the screen. No need to buy any karaoke discs or apps - just search for free content on Youtube. The only downside I see is the microphone. You really need to hold it a certain way so that it picks up your voice.
