Ok - these bags are definitely worth the price! They are a great size , easy to write on with a metallic sharpie and easy to use for gifting PLUS they are reusable. I purchased the simple black because they don’t show dirt or wear and tear. I have not washed them yet but trust me I will try when it’s time. These bags are sturdy plus they look nice and for the price I can’t beat them! I have used a hole punch to put two holes in the top of one side and added a permanent double sided satin bow. So these can be dressed up to look very high class . They are reusable so they feel good because I feel I’m in some way making a little bit of change for the environment. Frankly it was my generation that brought out the silly plastic bags. My grandma always had her own bags. She knew they were clean and she knew they were strong. In a way, I feel like using a bag like this is the beginning of getting back to the basics in life . If a gift is worth giving then it’s worth wrapping and if one does not have time to wrap then it’s super easy to put some tissue paper on top. I keep a couple of these bags in my car trunk. They are a great size so I don’t over pack them an make it too difficult to carry because of the weight . Seriously, look at the price. These bags are way better than a drug store gift bag that is only good for one special occasion. Who wants to carry a bag that exclaims HAPPY BIRTHDAY or BABY SHOWER back and forth to a grocery store? Not me, however I do until they break. I’m not saying that these won’t wear out eventually but I can say that they actually look nicer for a longer time. I used these bags to give Christmas gifts. I make homemade treats I bake and give to my coworkers. They do have a tendency to tear easily. They have a lot of room. For me they were worth the money I spent. No frills design.

Since we went to reusable bags I have looked for something that is similar to a paper brown bag for size and a bottom that is more square than the canvas totes that I have been using. These are the perfect bag. Easy to carry many bags into the store and easy to fill at the check out. Some places will fill the bag for you and others put items back in the cart so the shopper can load the bag the way they want. These work so well and I always have enough bags now.
