I purchased this sink caddy on Feb 8, 2016. Today is Dec 3 2023 and I am ordering a replacement. I have used it everyday and I have never regretted buying it. It's sturdy, easy to clean, and a good size. No issues with it other than having it fall from lack of suction an couple of times and having to replace the suction cups once a few years ago (I found a pack on Amazon). Initially this idea seemed great, and I ordered despite the lower reviews on the suction issues. The good: I loved the sleek design and the fact that I could fit everything in it. Including my brushes. I also liked that the insert comes out when you need to clean it or to make bigger room. Loved the collapsible section. The bad: with suction, I didn’t have a problem for almost a year, the trick is to stick it on while sink is clean and dry. However, after all this time, suction decreased and it constantly falls. Mainly because of the pulling off and on to clean; my biggest issue with this is the upkeep as it gathers dirt and gunk and you have to constantly pull it off and wash, scrub, sanitize! If your sink is small DO NOT get this. It will be big and bulky and will catch all the gunk running thru the sink. Our sink is a double, normal size and we still had stuff running into it. Yucky interior nooks and crannies, means weekly cleanup! (See picture for 1 weeks worth of gunk) Bottom line, serves the purpose, but some size and cleanup issues. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This sink caddy is very well designed. It is roomy (I am attaching a photo showing that it holds 4 of my cleaning "instruments" - two pads and two brushes) yet slim enough not to be in the way. It has holes in the bottom of the caddy so the cleaning pads drain into sink. The hanging mechanism is very good. The hanger rests on the lip of the sink, and the suction caps on the back get stuck to the side of the sink. The instruction say that the hanger is adjustable and can be squeezed to change its height, but I did not have to do it (it was perfect with height it arrived). It is possible to remove the hanging wire completely if you prefer, and attach the caddy with just four suction cups. To adjust the height you would remove the wire and use a different set of holes in the back of the caddy. The caddy is made out of rust-proof material, but of course, I have not had a chance to verify that since I only had it for a few weeks. Update 10/19/2012: It has been over 1.5 years since I purchased the caddy. No rust! Dimensions: 6.5" width x 2" depth x 3.25" height The caddy extends away from the side of the sink depth+suction cups, which is 2.5 inches. The lip of the hanger is 2". The height of the hanger is adjustable, set to 2" on arrival. I have been using the caddy for a few weeks now and I am very pleased. It is convenient, my kitchen sink is more organized, and it has not been in my way once. I placed it at the far right corner (I am right-handed) as shown on the attached photo. This is a nice little gadget and I recommend it. Update: 10/19/2012 It has been 1.5 years since the purchase. I am still very pleased with the caddy. I was a little nervous about getting this- it seemed expensive if it didn’t work- but went on a limb and bought it. Long story short- I LOVE it. I DID have problems getting the suction cups to stick but followed someone else’s advice and used petroleum jelly and it’s worked like a charm! No slipping. I love that there’s room for the sponges and the brush (we use brushes more in dishes and the sponge on the counter). It looks nice and I Skeats know where everything is. I was hesitant to buy this sink caddy because of the reviews saying it doesn’t stay suctioned but decided to give it a try anyways. So glad I did! The caddy does indeed fall and the suction doesn't hold for longer than a few minutes, until you put some Vaseline on the suction cups and twist them onto the sink. Viola! The additional bar that sits on the side of the sink is awesome. It doesn't affect my counter space either. It is wide enough to hold a sponge daddy sponge and a scrub brush. I had a cheaper one and it constantly fell off .. .I don't think their suction cups are any better than the other options - BUT the bar helps to take the burden off the suction cups if that makes sense..If you have a smaller sink - you may not like this because it does take more room up than the slim version (obviously) ... show more
