There are a few similarly-designed dispensers available, but this one definitely feels the best to use. The others use cheap, thin plastics for all surfaces where this one has a metal veneer on the face, solid-feeling handles, and nice, thick containers that give it a satisfying feel when using. The only things I might address are the lids which have a tendency to pop up when the inside of the container where the o-ring sits has product on it, and the lack of a lock or sufficient mount for the dispensers to keep them from being knocked free, at they only need be lifted up. The lids are easy to address, as you only need to A) keep the small area at the top free of product in the first place, or B) wipe it down after filling. The lack of a sufficient way to keep the dispensers locked in when being bumped could more simply be solved by the locking slots being angled at 45 degrees to keep them from being simply bumped up by a wayward elbow, but it would be nice to see a locking system like other similar dispensers have. I am not removing a star for this as we knew it did not have a lock when we bought it, and I did not expect my partner to knock the dispensers free with their elbows so often. I will add that, for being dropped probably half a dozen times, the solid construction of the containers themselves kept them from breaking until the 6th time. The lids did not fare quite so well, but they did survive one or two attempts. There was a tiny bit of leakage from the most-dropped container, but it was miniscule and only happened after the third or fourth time. Again, abnormal wear an tear. When mentioning dropping, it must be said only the dispensers ever fell. The mounting tape is extremely good at its job and was difficult to remove. I never had any question about how solidly it was mounted to the wall. We have since gone with a different dispenser which is not nearly as nice a product, but I need it to lock due to the apparently-hostile environment they operate in. I never new showering was so dangerous. If there was a base plate available for the dispensers which locked I would buy it again in a heartbeat. ... show more

I needed two dispensers for my vacation rental house. I really struggled reading all the reviews, and ended up choosing a more expensive one, hoping to avoid some of the problems of adhesion, breakage and priming that I read about. We installed one using screws and the other just the adhesive tape provided. They are mounted on fiberglass shower walls that are slightly wavy to give the appearance of tile, so not perfectly smooth. They seem very secure and have had no issues at all. The bottles do say "shampoo" and "conditioner", but it is in clear lettering that is so tiny you could never read it in the shower, so I added my own labels. There is an optional hook that can be used or not. For reference, one 34 oz. bottle of Kirkland Signature shampoo filled two dispensers with a bit left over. After a month of use, I'm very pleased with this purchase. ... show more

I installed this on tile positioned so it was not over grout lines using the 3M sticker included. I did use Gorilla waterproof glue around the edge to ensure no moisture seeped into the back so that hopefully it will never fall down. I've been using it for almost 3 weeks now with no issues. No more moldy containers from water hitting them as these on the wall do not get wet! ... show more

We chose to adhere it to glass rather than to tile. So far the section is good we’ve had it for a few weeks. I have read reviews about the pumps, not working out of the box. Maybe there were some directions as to how to make it easier they got thrown away or not red, but it seem like it took a zillion palms for each pump to get primed (OK maybe more literally a couple hundred). I can totally see why other viewers would think that it was broken out of the box. It doesn’t work. ... show more

Overall an absolute great buy! Very convenient to have this in my shower rather than fumbling around with soap bars and shampoo bottles. Also prevents those ugly rings bottles and soap holders create! The suction is extremely strong. Hard to pull off. Only complaint is I wish the tables for each dispenser were more conspicuous. The labels for "shampoo, conditioner, and soap" are engraved very small on each respective dispenser. Wish they were bigger and obvious. Other than that, great buy! ... show more

This is our second dispenser. We had the first one for almost 10 years before the handle at the bottom finally snapped off. A couple of years ago, we had our tile regrouted. Moen sent us a new adhesive pad for free since we had to take the dispenser down. It works great. My husband, who is disabled, uses it for his shampoo. Highly recommend this. ... show more
