So, I went on a vacation and the Airbnb I stayed at was just so luxurious and beautiful I intentionally searched for the tag of the different items and one of them was this duvet cover. As soon as I got home, I bought myself one and I do not regret it! I love the little crinkles and wrinkles (even though they are pretty easy to get out if you remove it from the dryer while it’s warm) I love the more textured look. It’s so soft, not scratchy like I was nervous of, and the color is just gorgeous. I would argue my sleep has improved since we got it but maybe I’m just sleeping better because the thought of buying it isn’t keeping me up all night anymore, haha. These washed linen euro shams do not disappoint! I found them on Instagram with someone I follow. She was redoing her bed in all Amazon, as opposed to a higher end Pottery Barn bed she had done previously. I originally ordered this duvet set in the dusty blue color for one of our guest beds. I liked it so much that I just bought another in dark grey for our bed. Both sets I've ordered have been as expected, with the colors matching what is shown online. I decided to start trying linen on the beds to help with fur, since we have a dog and a cat. The dog is not on the beds much, but the cat definitely is. I originally bought a linen duvet set from the Company Store at a much higher price point, and was disappointed when one of the shams ripped after one wash. The price point on these is much better, and so far they have held up much better as well. They are soft and comfortable and I haven't lost any buttons or run into holes after washing. While nothing is going to completely repel animal fur, they definitely don't get covered in fur the way other bedding does. What fur does collect on them is easy to get off with a vacuum or comes out well after washing. Just keep in mind that because they are linen, they are going to be wrinkly. We've had this duvet for almost a year now and love it! I shopped around a lot at higher end retailers and was please to have landed on this one. The natural linen shade was exactly what we were looking for, and looks quite elevated for the price. I will say my queen duvet insert (from IKEA) is a bit small for it, and even with the ties slips around a bit (I usually have to fluff / adjust every other day, which is not a huge deal). Linen naturally wrinkles, which adds to its signature look. It also is not the softest bedding material, but this one definitely softens with every wash. Doesn't bug us at all. The linen these are made of is beautiful! It’s heavy, not flimsy. I’ve been searching all over for a plain, classy linen sham. I got the white to match my linen duvet. Matches perfectly! So well made! I’m so happy with them! Definitely ordering them for everyone in my family!
