  • When You Really Need a Flashlight that WORKS!
Color: Green
Nice and bright, and a great option to having battery dependent flashlights!

  • Smaller than expected but an excellent emergency flashlight
Color: Yellow
Extended power failures can happen without warning. I was reminded of this when a relative lost power for a week recently after widespread storm damage. We decided to buy these hand-crank/solar cell flashlights, in case of a longer duration outage. They are smaller than expected, but work great. The instructions say to crank them for one minute, once a month, to maintain a minimum charge. This produced a reasonably bright light, not enough to light up the whole room but certainly good enough for emergency use during power failures. Additional charging is needed for longer use. We have them charging in the window sill now. You can never have too many flashlights, and it's always wise to have some that don't need batteries. I love the price, which was lower than I had expected to pay for this extra peace of mind. ... show more

  • Not bad, good price for 2 of them
Color: Black
These are not that bright, but it is easy to crank. Becuase of the small size and the crank it makes them very good to keep in a emergency backpack. But the solar charging doesnt seem to work. I would recommend though.

  • Do What They're Supposed To

I buy these for Christmas Child boxes. I can't say anything about longevity but they seem well made and work when I try them out.

  • Best hurricane flashlights on the market
Color: Yellow
I've lived on the Gulf Coast for several decades and we all know there are certain supplies and types of gear that one MUST have available every summer and fall. One of those is multiple flashlights, which can be expensive and which also require a supply of fresh batteries for those inevitable occasions when the power goes out for a week or two. I bought several of this model of solar-powered flashlight with a crank as back-up power about a dozen years ago and they've gotten regular and sometimes heavy use every year. They're light-weight & small (pocket-size) and have a clip for hooking to your belt (so you can carry an armload of stuff). I keep them on a window ledge behind the blinds in each room so that (1) they will always e fully changed when I need them, and (2) I know exactly where to find them in the dark. (No trying to remember which kitchen drawer the batteries are in, either.) The original ones are only just now beginning to get flaky -- which is a really long time for such inexpensive equipment of such a simple design. Hopefully, these four replacements will last just as long. ... show more

  • the hand cranked flashlight is amazing
Color: Black
ok i'm being honest this hand cranked flashlight is AMAZING. it is definitely not worth 15 dollars. the cranking sound isn't that bad and even adults are able to crank the flashlight despite its size. it also has a pretty neat solar panel on the side too! its lumens are exceptionally good. It has around 70-100 lumens (i'm not sure) and can still have decent lumens even when there is not much battery in it. It also lasts a WHILE. I did an experiment on how long it could last and it lasted around 20 minutes. Yes, the lumens were kind of bad but if it was extremely dark it could still work to help you see. and the fact that you get TWO of these is crazy. These flashlights are the textbook definition of underrated. ... show more

  • Not bad for the Price
Color: Black
I recently purchased a 2-pack of solar charger small flashlights with a hand crank, and I couldn't be more pleased with their performance. Here's a detailed review highlighting the various aspects of these versatile little gadgets. Perfect Balance of Power These flashlights strike the perfect balance between power and functionality. They're not overly powerful, which is actually a plus for my needs, as they provide just the right amount of light without being blinding. Whether I'm using them for reading in the tent during a camping trip or navigating a dark attic, they offer sufficient illumination to get the job done. The light is steady and reliable, making them ideal for various scenarios. Dual Charging Options One of the best features of these flashlights is the dual charging options. The built-in solar panels are efficient and charge the batteries during the day, making them eco-friendly and convenient. Additionally, the hand crank is a lifesaver in emergencies or when the weather doesn't cooperate. Just a few minutes of cranking provides enough power to light up the area, ensuring you're never left in the dark. Compact and Portable Design These flashlights are compact and lightweight, making them incredibly easy to carry around. Whether I’m hiking, camping, or just keeping them in my car for emergencies, their small size makes them a perfect fit for any situation. The included wrist straps are a nice touch, ensuring they’re always within easy reach. Great Value for the Price At their price point, these flashlights are an excellent value. They may not be the most powerful lights on the market, but their reliability and versatility make them well worth the investment. The fact that you get two in a pack only adds to their appeal, providing a backup or an extra to share with family or friends. ... show more

  • Great addition to your daypack
Color: Green
We added these to our daypacks in case of emergency. They are nifty little flashlights. Can charge by solar or by crank. Love that you can get it on and off your pack so quickly with the no fuss heavy duty clip. We’ve used this on 3 trails now and it’s worked perfectly and reliably each time. The kiddos also love using it and find the crank to be a bit of fun. The crank mechanism has help up well to rough and tumble use on trails. ... show more
