It arrived earlier than expected and was very well packaged. The individual pieces were powder coated, wrapped in plastic, and secured in styrofoam cut-outs inside the box. The monitor stand was packaged in its own box (inside the big box), which made sorting/assembly more manageable. Assembly was straightforward, all the holes lined up and everything fit together as they should. All bolts, washers, nuts, spacers, and etc were sealed in plastic and labeled. Most importantly, there were no missing parts. The integrated monitor mount provides consumers an option for a self-contained cockpit. It allowed me to tuck it away in the corner. I've been using it for a week and find it comfortable, sturdy and solid. For this price point, I'm impressed with the quality of the material, well thought out design and workmanship. It is very functional; far more sturdy/stable than I'd hope for. I would recommend this cockpit. Oh, it's heavy, probably upward of 40 pounds. Some of the design considerations worthy mentioning: 1. diameter of tubular frame is large and beefy enough 2. the metal brace on each side adds rigidity, allowing the different sections to work together as a single solid frame. 3. the seat reclines and slides. the wheel/shifter/pedals mounts are adjustable so one should be able to be comfortable in it. If you look at the reviews, many people of larger stature praise it. The frame is thick metal, well built, and the hardware was flawless to put together. The mounts are almost perfect for my G29... The wheel mounts perfectly, but I could only line up 2 out of 3 screws for the pedal set. It works absolutely fine though... No flex, nice and rigid, and lots of options for pedal angle, wheel position, etc. The seat sucks but go to your local pull a part and grab a cool seat and retrofit it on. :) It's a great frame and mount for your sim setup, but plan on getting a better seat. It has great mounts you can adapt to. ... show more

Seat is not good, but for the price you can't really complain. If you weigh 200+lbs like I do, the back will flex and the sides are going to press against your ribcage. I barely fit and can't move at all. The seat track has a little slop to it so it will move forward and backwards a little when you press the pedals. I wish I could fix that. The foam cushion is much too hard and is very uncomfortable after about an hour. The answer is to just swap out and automobile seat. I am going to try and add some foam to it first. The seat had a flat wooden base, and I was able to easily screw a haptic transducer to it! This is a BIG plus because you won't need a mount, and you will feel it. I even feel it in the pedals which surprised me. The rig itself is very rigid, all of the holes lined up, and I am VERY impressed with what you get for the money. It is so much more rigid than my single pole PlaySeat is. I mean like 4x more rigid! Cord management is A+ so it's nice and tidy when finished. The black textured powder coating is really nice and makes it look far more expensive than it is. I would buy this again. ... show more

I'm impressed by the design and assembly instructions, resulting in a rigid structure for race sims. Logitech race wheel and pedal assemblies fit perfectly making assembly go well. Count on a few hours for assembly though. Seat adjustment is easy too. A great buy in my view.

I paired this cockpit up with my Thrustmaster steering wheel and Pedals combo and everything fits beautifully, the shifter was after market but also Thrustmaster brand. I am 6'1", 415 lbs and I have a ton of room as you can see from the picture. The frame is very solid, the only downside is with my weight the seat back isn't as sturdy as it could be, but all in all I love it. ... show more

This thing is great very solid for the price, small wiggle on the seat slider is fixed with a tight fitting Allen wrench in the inside section of the left hand slider makes it feel rock solid thought I should share

Very happy with this sim cockpit. I'm 6'4" and there is more than enough room for someone even taller than me. I set up a Fanatec CSL DD wheel and a 49" Samsung curved monitor on it. Only thing I'll add is I needed an adaptor to hook up the monitor to the mount on the sim. If you have a different monitor you might not need it.
