  • Great results. Easy to use! Healing post-MOHS wounds that are 7 months old!
Item Package Quantity: 1
This product is working well to heal to wounds on a family member's head, following MOHS procedure for skin cancer. These wounds usually close secondarily, but since December, we've been struggling to attain complete wound healing. This product has kept the wound bed clean, absorbs lots of exudate, and has amazed us at how quickly we can see the wound reducing in size. We began using this approximately June 10th, and a little over a month later, we're making headway. We cleaned the two wounds with sterile normal saline wound wash, applied the alginate dressing and covered with Tegaderm. We changed the dressing every two days initially, but are now able to leave the dressing intact for 3-4 days. The dressing rarely sticks to the wound, but a quick wetting of the pad with sterile wound wash, allows for easy dressing removal. We were happy enough with the product & the results we've seen, to order a second box. As of one week ago, we spray the wound with Mesosilver colloidal silver....we are using that product for another issue, and know it can only benefit this wound, so we went for it. These are tough areas to heal since there have been several MOHS procedure done on the top of the head over the course of 16 years. As of July 19th, we've averted skin grafts! We are very, very pleased with this product........We have also used this on Stage I decubitus ulcers of the coccyx and have had equally great results. ... show more

  • Saved me from needing stitches!
Item Package Quantity: 1
Had a massive wound on leg that needed stitches, but tried this route first instead and this stuff worked AMAZINGLY!! I am soooo grateful for this stuff! Thank you!! I cut each dressing in half and used medical tape to secure it. Depending on the size of your wound 5 dressings may not be enough, so opt for the larger count if need be. I used all 5. Changed it every couple days. Completely healed the wound and was able to avoid stitches. :') ... show more
