Does just what I needed. It covers the default cloth facial interface and blocks most of the light around my nose. It fits over the padding well. I could imagine a slightly better fit around the nose, but it is pretty good. I'm happy with the purchase.

First, some of the pictures are a bit misleading. What you receive is simply the silicone cover, like the one that came with the Oculus 2. Easy to install and it feels good. If you are playing active games, you will get hot and sweat. Luckily it is washable and I feel better about that vs sweating into the foam pad that it comes with. It's a bit much but worth it, as with this review (I don't buy junk) at least you will know it fits and does what it's supposed to do.

I’d heard the facial interface included with Quest 3 was absorbent, so I ordered this silicone cover and am glad I did. Fits perfectly and the little nose flaps help with the light leak around the nose. Easy, cheap way to stay hygenic and keep it dark! EDIT: Updated my review and removed 2 stars. While my originally review stands, I found the silicone would occasionally droop down and block one of the sensors causing the screen to go dark. Ended up choosing to return. ... show more

    • Comfortable but it must be blocking critical sensors.
I tried multiple ways to get these covers to work, but I can't figure out why putting this on the headset turns it into a non-responsive black screen or frozen screen. Won't recognize the hand controllers or my hands. Even after removing it from the Quest 3 headset, I can't get the headset to start responding again unless I hold down the power button for 20 seconds to get it to reboot. It must be covering up some critical sensors but I don't know where. It's a shame. I was really hoping these would work. And other than the headset functionality issue, they were comfortable to wear on my face and easy to install. ... show more

    • Have been using it for months.
Ive been using this cover for months since i got quest3. It didnt cover whole space 100% btw vr and my nose. but its totally fine. cus its really small gap and when i look into vr, i dont even recognize the gap. and its good that i have small gap cus sometimes i need to see out of vr machine to grap sth like phone or controller. so i dont count the gap as a flaw. the only cons(?) is since its silicone, my sweat remains on the cover. so i dont like sweat while using it lol. well, its just because its silicone and maybe its better than sweating on the fabric part for a long time of usage and it gets gross. as a result, im so happy that i got this one and Its 100% recommandable product! When I first got the quest the original padding I had gave me a rash around my eyes and it was quite embarrassing when I would go to work like that but after I bought this product it helped a lot not only won't I get a rash no more but it makes it easier to clean after sweating a lot from the exercise apps that come with the meta ... show more
